Accommodation

Retreat to the Mountain Retreat Center in the Chiemgau mountains. The Retreat Center has 20 rooms with views of the impressive natural landscape of the Alps. It can happen that you are amazed out of nowhere. Again and again. Each of our rooms is a special kind of retreat in its own right. Small, fine, cozy.

The Retreat Center has double rooms (mostly with separate beds) and single rooms - some with their own bathroom and toilet, some where you share a bathroom and toilet with other program participants, but all with a washbasin in the room.
Unlike in a hotel, our guests wear slippers, make sure that they feel comfortable in their rooms - rooms are cleaned on arrival and departure - and clear away their own dishes. To ensure that the Retreat Center is not only a place of relaxation for you, but also for the environment, we attach great importance to sustainability and use products from the region.

The Mountain Retreat Center is a member of VeggieHotels.

Catering

The full board at the Mountain Retreat Center is vegetarian and vegan. The most important meal of the day, at least according to the Chinese, is breakfast. That's why we also attach particular importance to a good, healthy breakfast - always including warm porridge. For lunch you enjoy soup, bread and spreads, and in the evening you are treated to a delicious buffet with salad, creative vegetarian-vegan main courses and a dessert. Always freshly cooked and as seasonal as possible. Intolerances can be catered for by prior arrangement.

sequence

This coaching journey is an invitation to meet yourself with open eyes - and to question old stress patterns. The focus is on PEP® (process and embodiment-focused psychology), an easy-to-learn and highly effective method of self-regulation based on mindful bodywork and conscious handling of emotions.

The so-called "tapping technique" helps to release stressful thoughts and feelings and restore inner balance.

The course is deliberately designed to be practical: Only short theoretical impulses at the beginning, then plenty of space for your own experience. You will practise how to calm your autonomic nervous system with PEP®, meditation, breathing techniques, relaxation techniques and nature experiences - and find your way back to self-regulation. These methods can have a preventative effect or be used to support you on your way out of stress-related exhaustion.

The retreat is accompanied by quiet moments, personal reflection and the special environment of the Mountain Retreat Center: a place of simplicity and warmth, supported by silence, nature and the powerful view of the mountains.

This retreat is aimed at anyone who longs for inner peace, greater serenity and new access to their own strength. For people in stressful phases of life as well as for those who want to consciously take preventative measures.

Scope of the program

On the day of arrival, the retreat begins with a first session together at 4 p.m. - a gentle introduction to arrive and tune in.
On the following days, you can expect two coaching and mindfulness sessions of around two hours each - one in the morning and one in the late afternoon.
On the day of departure, a final two-hour session takes place before breakfast. Afterwards, breakfast together and individual departure.
