Between heaven and earth: In a powerful, inspiring week on the island of Ugljan, in the middle of a quiet, idyllic fishing village in Croatia, you will experience the parallels between the cosmic influences from "above" and the annual festivals here "below" on earth - from the intuitive energy of the Rau(h)nights to the joie de vivre of the summer solstice. Every day we dedicate ourselves to one of the elements - earth, water, fire and air - and explore its meaning. Daily yoga (also for beginners), tailored to the elements and the themes of the day, accompany us and support the connection between body, mind and soul.

Each day brings a new experience and allows for a deeper connection to the natural cycles and cosmic influences that support, inspire and guide you. This retreat is an invitation to leave everyday life behind, to feel the rhythms of life on all levels and to resonate with the cycles of heaven and earth - in a place that radiates peace and tranquillity.

A house with history and charm

Our guest house is one of the oldest buildings in the picturesque fishing village of Sutomišćica - a true treasure that preserves the history of the island in its stone walls. The house was built from old stone, the walls of which are up to 80 cm thick and tell the story of the centuries.

With much love and dedication, we are giving new life to this historical heritage, renovating and redesigning it piece by piece to combine the charm of the past with modern comfort.

Tucked away in the narrow, winding streets in the heart of the village, the house is surrounded by houses that are linked together as they once were - in the style of the old, traditional way of life. There are no cars outside the door here, just the gentle knocking of doors and the soft murmur of the villagers' conversations. In this atmosphere, it feels as if time stands still, while you are still only 120 meters from the small sandy beach - in a few minutes' walk you can reach the bay and jump into the sea.

Where/how to find us

By car
Take the highway exit "Zadar ISTOK" and follow the signs to the ferry port "Gaženica".

By train/bus/plane
If you are arriving by train, bus or plane, then the pedestrian ferry in the old town of Zadar is the right choice. The best way to get there is by cab.

The island of Ugljan is easy to reach by ferry from ZADAR. Your port of arrival on the island is the town of Preko, which is only a few minutes away from us by car. Here you can find the current timetable, the crossing takes about 20 minutes.

Once on the island, take the exit on the right out of the harbor onto the main road and drive a few minutes to the Sutomišćica exit. There are several parking options in the town itself. Our house is located in the center of the quiet fishing village. The last few meters through narrow, Mediterranean alleys are therefore only accessible on foot. There is no direct car access to the house.
