Writing unfolds its special power where nothing has to be achieved. Instead, curiosity, presence, and self-encounter take center stage. Accompanied by Brigitte Wenzina, the focus is not on literary perfection, but on confidence in your individual expressiveness. Every writing voice is welcome—just as it is.
The retreat days follow a clear yet open thematic structure. Under the guiding principle of "being unique," you will explore your own way of writing. Texts will be created that are not corrected or judged, but are allowed to have an effect—because they are authentic. Writing becomes a space for insight, letting go, and self-expression.
In the second thematic area, "Writing from the soul," you will turn to your life story. Writing prompts invite you to perceive biographical traces, to look at them anew, and to gently put them into words. This results in small literary snapshots that can provide strength and orientation even beyond the retreat.
The third focus is on meditative poetry. You explore how texts gain depth without having to explain much. Through conscious reduction, rhythm, and linguistic subtlety, you develop a sense of how words work between the lines—and find your own writing flow.
The Mountain Retreat Center supports this process in a special way: nature walks, quiet retreats, and a soothing atmosphere create ideal conditions for texts to grow. Between rest, exchange, and enjoyment, space is created—for words and for yourself. What you will take away from your creative break: - Deeper access to your own writing voice: you will develop confidence in your individual expression and write more freely and authentically.
- New perspectives through self-reflection: Writing becomes a way to integrate experiences and consciously perceive joie de vivre. - Strengthening your own uniqueness: Your texts reflect what makes you who you are – honest, personal, and touching. - Sustainable writing impulses for everyday life: You will learn methods that you can use for meditative and biographical writing in the long term.
