Finally switch off, in the truest sense of the word, and leave everyday life behind you. This retreat is a time just for you, to finally just be, without any distractions or to-dos.
Together we will immerse ourselves in silence so that you can better perceive your inner voice, your wishes and needs. We will spend a day completely in silence. A beautiful program of selected mindfulness and meditation exercises will accompany you through the day and ensure silence on the outside as well as on the inside.
You will learn various exercises that focus on your body and your senses. This calms your thoughts and allows you to relax wonderfully. You can then integrate the exercises from the retreat into your everyday life and thus do something for your inner relaxation and serenity in the long term.
You can also look forward to lots of time for yourself in a beautiful place. The TamanGa retreat center in southern Styria offers a great garden, woods, a sauna, bathing ponds, massage chairs and lots of beautiful places to linger on a large property. The beautiful surroundings are rounded off by the delicious and wholesome Peace Food half board.
This retreat is just right for you if you are looking for a short break for body and soul. In addition to the short "silent day" adventure, you will also have free time, framed by a pleasant mindfulness and meditation program. Together we will create a mindful and loving atmosphere in which you can be exactly as you are. And after the retreat, you can return to your everyday life refreshed and invigorated.
Prerequisites and information:
- It is an advantage if you have already had experience with mindfulness and meditation and know that you generally like these exercises and find them beneficial.
- We will sometimes do longer meditations (up to an hour). If you cannot sit on the floor (for a long time), you can also do the meditations lying down or sitting on a chair.
- Please note that this retreat is not a therapy. If you are currently suffering from acute depression or another mental illness, please discuss possible participation with your therapist first. A silent retreat is intensive and requires a certain degree of mental stability.
- Take good care of yourself and only take part in the exercises that are good for you. You can skip program points at any time or stop earlier and take time for yourself instead.
