Finally switch off, in the truest sense of the word, and leave everyday life behind you. This retreat is a time just for you, to finally just be, without any distractions or to-do lists. Together we will immerse ourselves in silence so that you can better perceive your inner voice, your desires and needs. We will spend one day in complete silence. A wonderful program of selected mindfulness and meditation exercises will accompany you through the day, ensuring not only external silence but also inner peace. You will learn various exercises that focus your attention on your body and your senses. This will calm your thoughts and allow you to relax completely. You can then integrate the exercises from the retreat into your everyday life and thus do something for your inner relaxation and serenity in the long term. You can also look forward to plenty of time for yourself in a beautiful location. The TamanGa retreat center in southern Styria offers a large property with a wonderful garden, forests, a sauna, swimming ponds, massage chairs, and many beautiful places to linger. The beautiful surroundings are complemented by delicious and wholesome Peace Food half-board. This retreat is just right for you if you are looking for a short break for your body and soul. In addition to the little adventure of the "day of silence," you will also have plenty of free time, framed by a pleasant mindfulness and meditation program. Together, we will create a mindful and loving atmosphere in which you can be exactly who you are. And after the retreat, you can return to your everyday life feeling refreshed and rejuvenated. Requirements and information: - It is beneficial if you already have experience with mindfulness and meditation and know that you generally enjoy these exercises and find them beneficial.
- We will do some longer meditations (up to an hour). If you are unable to sit on the floor for long periods of time, you can also do the meditations lying down or sitting on a chair. - Please note that this retreat is not a form of therapy. If you are currently suffering from acute depression or another mental illness, please discuss your participation with your therapist first. A silent retreat is intense and requires a certain degree of mental stability. - Take good care of yourself and only participate in the exercises that are good for you. You can skip parts of the program at any time or stop early and take time for yourself instead.
