The secluded location on the edge of the forest gives you special me-time in nature. The fairy-tale hut with a wonderful view of the castle as a healing home helps you to ground yourself again and consciously enjoy the simple life. You have the hut all to yourself, and your coaches are there just for you during the retreat modules.
Lighting the stove, grinding coffee, baking bread, or letting the kettle hum—how long has it been since you last did that? Enjoy the moment and reconnect with nature, because it is our home. The fairy tale hut is especially cozy and comfortable in winter. Important!!! You decide the length of your stay yourself, with a minimum stay of two nights. In winter (November 1 to March 31), you will receive a low season discount of 30% on your booking. Don't want to be alone? Then bring a loved one or your pet (no extra charge). You can freely choose the retreat modules from our program. You decide what you need. If you wish, we can also put together a personalized program for you from the retreat modules. You will be personally looked after by the OFFSITE Resilience team, who are certified trainers and psychological counselors.
A visit to the thermal baths in Bad Endbach with sauna and salt cave is also always worthwhile. The program is designed exclusively for prevention, counseling, and life coaching. If you would like to give this retreat as a gift, we will provide you with a lovingly designed gift certificate.

Accommodation

The Märchenhütte offers a small kitchen with a refrigerator, electric stove, oven, and toaster. The bathroom includes a bathtub with a hot shower, a large sink with hot water, and an environmentally friendly dry toilet. The sleeping area measures 1.80 m x 2.00 m, and there is also a pull-out couch that is 1.40 m wide. Heating is provided exclusively by a wood-burning stove and an electric radiator in the bathroom. Outside, there is a cold outdoor shower and a toilet block, as well as two campfire sites. Electricity and Wi-Fi are available. The cabin, a former hunting lodge, has been extensively renovated by us and lovingly and hyggelig furnished. The property is 1200 square meters in size and completely fenced in, making it a little paradise for your dog as well.

Catering

The Märchenhütte is a self-catering cabin, and all the cooking utensils you need are provided. We decided to do it this way because there are so many different eating habits and intolerances. Shopping facilities and restaurants are located approximately 1.5 km away.

Depending on the module, please bring weatherproof clothing, sturdy shoes, and comfortable clothing. Please also remember to bring a water bottle, mosquito repellent, and sunscreen.

Arrival

Travel with the Kurhessenbahn railway from Marburg or Siegen. We offer a free shuttle service from Biedenkopf train station (you can also bring your bike). By car, take the B62 from Siegen or Marburg or the B253 from Dillenburg. We will provide you with the exact coordinates of the property and directions when you book.

The fairytale hut is fantastically beautiful. Totally lovingly furnished. My dog and I felt very comfortable on the large property. I will definitely be back.

I stayed at the Märchenhütte for 10 days with my dog and we felt very comfortable. It is very comfortably furnished and has everything you need, including a beautiful outdoor area. I was able to unwind and do something good for myself with the time out and the great retreat modules and gain new experiences. Thank you so much!

Full refund up to 14 days before arrival.
If you cancel up to 13 days before arrival, you will receive a 50% refund of the booking price.
After this, the booking is non-refundable.

In case of cancellation on the day of arrival or during the stay, the full amount will be charged. In case of no-show, the full amount will also be charged. Please send cancellations in writing by e-mail.
