○ My Approach
I’m Sabine, a psychological counselor, and I’ll guide you through these days in a personalized, nervous-system-friendly, and neurodivergent-friendly way.
You’re welcome to take a seat on my “green couch”—both figuratively and literally. Over the course of several days, I’ll hold a clear, safe, and reliable space for you where you don’t have to “function” and where you can find peace. In this space, things may emerge that often have no place in daily life or have long been overlooked. I am here, observing with you and guiding you through whatever arises with a calm, steady presence. During your retreat, I am there exclusively for you, so that the space truly belongs to you and your process and can unfold at your own pace and according to your needs.
Many clients experience this space in the midst of nature as a kind of sanctuary: a place where they can truly let go for a few days because they don’t have to worry about anything, perform, or pull themselves together.
In my work, I combine psychological process guidance, body awareness, and nature-based work with a very human, attuned approach. It is important to me that you feel safe, seen, and able to reconnect with yourself internally, even when there is a lot going on inside you. This is not about optimizing you, but about understanding you as a system that reacts in a comprehensible way to its environment, history, and stress.
The goal of these days is not self-optimization, but clarity, relief, understanding, and a deeper connection to what is truly essential for you.
I consciously work with only a small number of clients per season so that I can give each process the necessary depth and presence.
My foundation is built on training in life and social counseling, couples and sex therapy, bodywork, human energetics, shamanism, as well as nature and wilderness education.
○ The Retreat Location
The retreat location is intentionally simple and low-stimulus: a quiet, nature-oriented retreat without Wi-Fi or television, allowing your nervous system to gradually wind down and become more attuned to subtle sensations.
Nature is not merely a backdrop here, but an active part of the process and a tranquil resonant space that facilitates regulation and helps you gain distance from inner issues.
○ The Schedule
The process follows a clear structure of arrival, deepening, and integration, but is not rigidly planned; rather, it adapts to what arises in the moment.
Day 1 – Arrival
Arrival starting at 3:00 PM and initial settling into the space. Even in the first few hours, a noticeable sense of calm often emerges as daily life, obligations, and the need to be reachable gradually fade into the background.
After your arrival, we’ll get to know each other during a walk and talk and focus on the issue that brought you here. This provides an initial, clear direction for the days ahead. The evening is intentionally kept quiet and concludes with dinner.
Day 2 – Deepening
The second day forms the core of the process. After a quiet breakfast, space opens up for your themes and inner movements. Depending on the process, we work through conversation, in nature, creatively, in movement, or through body-oriented approaches. In doing so, connections become visible that are often obscured in daily life or are not given space.
Between sessions, time is intentionally set aside for integration, retreat, and processing. Many people find this very combination of guidance, nature, and silence to be particularly relieving and clarifying. The evening concludes once again with dinner.
Day 3 – Integration
On the final day, we sort through and bring together what has been experienced. We distill the experiences: What has become important, what is currently shifting, and what specific insights will you take back into your daily life.
Together, we focus on the next steps so that these insights can become a genuine inner direction that continues to have an impact beyond the retreat.
Your process space ends around 10:00 a.m. You return to your daily life with greater inner clarity, peace, and a noticeably stronger connection to yourself.
