Walkout in Freudenberg Castle Park with Tom Karcher from September 5 to 8
For thousands of years, humans have lived in close connection with natural conditions and processes, seeing themselves as part of nature and understanding the course of their lives - childhood, youth, adulthood and old age - as the cycle of the seasons in the natural world around them. This life path, with its challenges and crises, is timeless and universal. The entire living world goes through it again and again. Today, we only experience this cycle of life at a distance. The cocoon of civilization leaves us with only an echo and a longing for our origins. The WalkOut offers a ritualized transition into the next stage of personal growth and self-knowledge by transferring the ancient method (Jesus, Buddah, Mohamed...) of retreat and contemplation fasting in nature into our time.
"Existence" comes from the Latin "existere" - which means "to be exposed".
Tom Karcher, a player at the Freudenberg Castle Field of Experience since 2009, invites you to a special experience of "existence", of "being exposed". During the WalkOut, you take four days of "time out" in Freudenberg Castle Park - with careful preparation and guidance:
- Friday to Monday out in nature
- One day and one night alone, fasting and equipped only with the bare essentials
- Overnight stay outside the solo night in tents
