↗ Cancellation Policy
Sometimes things don’t go as planned. If you need to cancel, please let me know in writing as soon as possible. A cancellation will always incur a €50 processing fee. Cancellations made up to 35 days before the tour starts are free of charge, aside from this fee.
After that, cancellation without cost is only possible if a suitable replacement participant is found within 14 days of cancellation. For organizational reasons, finding a replacement participant is only possible up to 21 days before the tour starts.
Without a suitable replacement participant provided in a timely manner, 50% (or 10% within the last 15 days before the tour starts) of the amount paid will be refunded.
↗ Right to Make Changes and Cancel
For important reasons, the content and itinerary of the hike may be changed, naturally while preserving the overall character and purpose. The hike may be canceled due to force majeure or other important organizational reasons (e.g., insufficient number of participants), with a refund of amounts already paid, and/or alternative dates may be offered. If illness, injury, or overriding family obligations (such as the death or serious illness of a close relative) on the part of the provider make the hike impossible, it will be canceled; if such a situation arises during the hike, amounts already paid will not be refunded. In all cases of cancellation, hikers will be informed immediately. Any claim for reimbursement of travel and accommodation costs, as well as losses due to loss of earnings, is excluded. In the interest of those affected and the group, and to minimize potential dangers, the provider may exclude participants from the hike or individual sections if it is apparent that their sure-footedness, health, physical condition, or experience do not meet the requirements.
↗ Safety and Personal Responsibility
Safety is very important, and we carefully adapt the tour to weather conditions and the group’s composition. Ultimately, however, everyone is responsible for themselves in the mountains. All hikers declare that they will always be mindful of their strength and health, take personal responsibility for their time in the mountains, and hike at their own risk. Hikers stay in the huts and in the mountains at their own risk. All acknowledge that they are personally liable and have no insurance coverage from the provider.
The same applies to the inner process. Responsibility for one’s own actions as well as for physical and mental health lies with the participants themselves. This journey does not include any medical or therapeutic measures and does not replace them. No diagnoses will be made, and no cure or relief is promised. Shared exercises are intended as aids for life coaching and self-help or for expanding knowledge and personal growth. Participation is generally only possible if you are in good mental health. If you are currently undergoing treatment, please speak with your treating professional and the retreat leaders beforehand.
The provider’s liability is limited to gross negligence and intent. Generally, no liability is assumed—within the scope of legal obligations—for loss and/or damage or other misplacement of valuables owned or in the possession of the hikers. During application demonstrations or exercises that the hikers perform together, they do so at their own risk. If hikers cause harm to third parties in the process, their liability toward these third parties remains unaffected. Claims for damages against the provider, regardless of the legal basis, are excluded to the extent permitted by law.
