Cancellation cases
Sometimes things turn out differently than we had imagined. If you have to cancel, please let me know in writing as soon as possible. Cancellation will always result in a processing fee of 50€. Cancellations up to 35 days before the start of the tour are free of charge - apart from this fee.
After this date, cost-neutral cancelation is only possible if a suitable replacement participant is provided within 14 days of the cancellation. For organizational reasons, such a replacement participant can only be provided up to 21 days before the start of the tour.
Without a suitable replacement participant provided in time, 50% (or 10% within the last 14 days before the start of the tour) of the transferred amount will be refunded.
Subject to change and cancellation
The content and course of the hike can be changed for important reasons, while of course maintaining the overall character and objective. The hike may be canceled due to force majeure or for other important organizational reasons (e.g. insufficient number of participants) against reimbursement of amounts already paid and/or alternative dates may be offered. If illness, injury or higher-ranking family obligations (such as death or serious illness of close relatives) of the provider make the hike impossible, it will be canceled; if such a case occurs during the hike, amounts already paid will not be refunded. In all cases of cancellation, hikers will be informed immediately. A claim for compensation for travel and accommodation costs as well as losses due to loss of earnings is excluded. In the interests of the participants and the group and in order to minimize potential dangers, the provider may exclude participants from the hike or individual sections if it is apparent that their surefootedness, health, fitness or experience do not meet the requirements.
Safety and personal responsibility
Safety is very important and we carefully adapt the tour to the weather conditions and group constellation. Ultimately, however, everyone is responsible for themselves in the mountains. All hikers declare that they will always keep an eye on their strength and health, take personal responsibility for their time in the mountains and hike at their own risk. Hikers stay in the huts and mountains at their own risk. Everyone acknowledges that they themselves are liable and have no insurance cover from the provider.
The same applies to the internal process. Participants are responsible for their own actions and for their physical and mental health. This journey does not include any medical or therapeutic measures and does not replace them. No diagnoses are made and no healing or relief is promised. Shared exercises are intended as an aid to life counseling and self-help or for the expansion of knowledge and personal experience. Participation is only possible if you are in good mental health. If you are undergoing treatment, please talk to the person treating you and the retreat leader beforehand.
The liability of the provider is limited to gross negligence and intent. In general, no liability is accepted, within the scope of legal obligations, for loss and/or damage or other loss of valuables belonging to or in the possession of the hikers. During application demonstrations or exercises that hikers carry out together, they do so at their own risk. If hikers cause damage to third parties, their liability towards these third parties remains unaffected. Claims for damages against the provider, for whatever legal reason, are excluded to the extent permitted by law.
