Summary

Our weekend forest retreats in the beautiful Lahn-Dill-Bergland at the foot of the Rothaargebirge offer you the opportunity to get away from the stresses of everyday life and meet like-minded people. We set off together (in small groups of 3 to max. 6 people) in search of the treasures of the forest. With guided exercises in nature and good conversations around the campfire in our forest garden, we dive deeper and deeper into the magic of the forest. Of course, there is also time for solo time in the forest. You will receive many impulses from us and of course from nature, which you can put into practice in everyday life. Mindfulness will also be a topic that offers us the opportunity to stay in touch with ourselves in everyday life. Of course, we also adapt the program to the respective season, in spring, for example, with the topic of happiness, in summer we deal with the topic of Kneipp, among others, and in autumn we get creative with natural materials, among other things.

The program is rounded off with shared meals around the campfire, gentle movement units with Qigong and meditation. You can spend the night in our Märchenhütte or Schwanennest huts, pitch your tent in the forest garden or spend the night on your own in the village. Everything is available in Biedenkopf, from camper van sites to youth hostels, guesthouses and hotels.
Our forest garden with fairytale hut is located on the edge of the forest, but close to the town. The Swan's Nest is located at the Perfstausee. We offer a shuttle service to get there. Shopping facilities are approx. 1.5 km away.

Catering

Please bring your own food, as there are so many different eating habits and intolerances.
There is the possibility to grill or heat something at the campfire or in the small kitchen.
There are also two fridges and a freezer for cooling.

In the morning we have breakfast together, at lunchtime we take a snack with us into the forest and in the evening we meet around the campfire.

On Friday afternoon we will move into our accommodation and then we will get to know each other in a cozy get-together around the fireplace. We will provide you with a notebook for taking notes, drawing or similar. When it gets dark, we will listen to mystical stories and fairy tales around the campfire.

On Saturday we start the day with breakfast together. Then we start with a short hike into the forest. This is followed by exercises in mindful awareness. We will spend our lunch break in a small hut in the forest and eat the snacks we have brought with us. Afterwards there is time for further exercises in the forest garden on seasonally appropriate themes.
We end the day with a fantasy journey and dinner together around the campfire. Afterwards there is still time for lots of good conversation.

On Sunday, after breakfast together, a meditation and Qigong basics are planned. We will have lunch in the forest again. Finally, we will spend some creative time in the forest and say goodbye in the forest garden.

All program content takes place in our forest garden or in the surrounding nature, regardless of the weather. So please bring weather-appropriate clothing and footwear. We provide waterproof seat pads, faux furs and blankets. We reserve the right to adapt the program to the weather conditions.

We offer you a free shuttle service from the Biedenkopf or Wallau stop. We can also transport your bike.
If you are staying outside the Waldgarten and do not have your own vehicle, we will be happy to pick you up (max. 10 km).

We spent a weekend in the Märchenhütte and chose the WaldArt module. It was simply wonderful. Andrea taught us about the forest with a lot of knowledge and empathy. In addition to artistic activities, there was also plenty of space to relax and unwind. Eating over an open fire with the group was also a highlight - thanks to Patrick for lighting the fire! The Märchenhütte is located in the middle of beautiful nature and has been lovingly renovated by the two of them. There is simply everything you need to enjoy a relaxing stay. We felt extremely comfortable and will definitely be back - at the latest when the bread oven is built. :-)

Full refund up to 14 days before arrival.
If you cancel up to 13 days before arrival, you will receive a 50% refund of the booking price.
After this, the booking is non-refundable.

If you cancel on the start date or break off on the retreat days, we will unfortunately have to charge the full amount for the retreat and/or overnight stay. Non-attendance is considered as cancellation.
