An incredible 7-day winter experience for intentional souls, who are looking to slow down, recharge and find bliss through the Finnish way of being. Immerse yourself in Finnish rituals, wisdom, and traditions alongside me and an intimate group of like-minded individuals, and uncover why Finns have been ranked the happiest people on earth for the eighth year in a row.

This Finnish concept is our anchor for determination, endurance and inner strength, that guides us through life's challenges with a smile on our face.

During the Winter Bliss Retreat we will practice this everyday, so it becomes a part of you too to keep you calm, connected and full of bliss when you’re back home. So how do we get sisu? By practicing. By challenging ourselves physically, emotionally, mentally and spiritually. By connecting body, mind and soul.

Think of sisu as a muscle that you can strengthen and train (the more you train the bigger and stronger it gets). That’s exactly what we do during our Winter Bliss Retreat. Sauna bathing relaxes your muscles but it also challenges you to endure the heat

Ice Bathing (or Snow rolling) refreshes your body but it also invites you to surrender to the cold challenging your mind Snowshoe Walking in the vast forest and on the frozen lake builds confidence in basic survival instincts and connects you to the endless nature Intuitive Movement with your eyes closed releases stuck energies and gives you the opportunity to break out of your comfort zone

Different holistic workshops and activities like painting on canvas can be super meditative in their own way and if it brings you joy it can spark your creativity within Cleansing Practices and delicious plant-based food nourishes and detoxifies you from the inside out for a healthier feeling in your body and mind

Connection to the people around us in an understanding, loving, caring and especially inclusive way brings acceptance towards ourselves and the world around us How do these phrases make you feel: you are easily inspired and passionate always trying new things you love the outdoors and to spend time in and with nature you are empathetic, humorous and love to laugh from the bottom of your heart until the belly hurts (or tears flow)
you are sociable and like to go into deep conversations but you also love to spend time alone and release your inner introvert you tend to have little projects all the time and hands-on activities are your strong suit movement of any kind is something you couldn’t live without, yoga being a big part of it but equally as much any other intentional movement like dancing or somatic experiences

We have 2 Twin bedrooms with single beds and 1 quadruple room with single beds. The quadruple room is separated into two single rooms by doors, for which there is a small room and a big room to choose from. If you are traveling alone we will put you with another participant together. All rooms are mixed gender. If you prefer otherwise let us know, so we can try to arrange.

Flights excluded Transport to Mikkleli main station. The train from HEL to Mikkeli takes around 2 hours and is a beautiful journey through forest and pure Finnish nature. The perfect start into your experience with us.
