This week we will discover the Swedish winter landscape in a special way on two excursions.
Enjoy the quiet crunching under your feet on a snowshoe hike as we explore the forest. We may discover animal tracks along the way. About halfway through, we stop for fika (a small snack) before continuing our journey back to the manor house. The snowshoe hike takes around two hours.
The second excursion of the week takes you through the forest areas of the north by dog sled. You travel in pairs, alternating with your dog team in your own sled. One sits in the sled while the other drives. Experience the power and enthusiasm of the dogs. The husky tour lasts around 2.5 hours and includes homemade fika, outerwear (boots, pants, jacket, hat and mittens) and of course time to make friends with the dogs.
This active winter week is rounded off and enriched with two yoga sessions a day. Mindful movement connects body and mind and allows your thoughts to relax. In your own rhythm, you will flow through beneficial exercises (asanas) that strengthen us and make us more flexible. Breathing exercises (pranayama) and meditation deepen the yoga practice.
The program is subject to change and excursions will be arranged on site. Depending on the size of the group, the activities take place in two to three alternating groups. Further excursions can be booked on site.
