When the days get shorter and darker again, it's the perfect time for inner contemplation and taking moments to reflect. We say goodbye to summer and admire nature in its most beautiful colors. At the Yin Yoga & Ayurveda Retreat, we immerse ourselves in silence and enjoy the colorful Ayurvedic autumn cuisine.
Are you longing to take time just for yourself? To be able to really perceive yourself and your needs again? Experience a special kind of time-out. Three days of yin yoga, meditations, self-love rituals and coaching impulses await you. In between, plenty of time for yourself on long walks in the beautiful natural surroundings or relaxing with a good book in a cozy corner.
Anke Keller will give us theoretical insights into Ayurveda. She will also conjure up fresh Ayurvedic fall dishes throughout the weekend. Let yourself be surprised by the variety of flavors of the nourishing meals made from regional and seasonal organic food to enjoy
Autumn is the time to retreat and focus on the essentials. As nature colors the leaves on the trees and eventually sheds them, we may begin to feel melancholy. We begin to withdraw again. In traditional Chinese medicine, autumn is associated with the element metal, to which the lung and large intestine meridians belong. We activate these two meridians with various Yin Yoga poses and allow the Qi - the life energy - to flow freely again, so that harmony can be restored in body, emotion and mind.
Yin yoga can help you to come back to yourself, recharge your batteries and stay focused. Silence allows us to listen attentively to our body and our emotional world.
Simply switch off and enjoy. Give more space to lightness. Playfully try out the individual asanas. Yin yoga is not about building up muscles or sinking particularly deeply into a forward bend. It's about you and your body. You can simply switch off and relax deeply.
Yin yoga is a calm style of yoga that is mainly practiced lying down or sitting. The exercises are held for approx. 5 minutes and supported with aids. Yin yoga teaches you to become more aware of yourself and your body. By remaining in the individual positions for a long time, tension can be released and the tissue feels softer and more flexible.
Meditation and self-love rituals support you in getting in touch with your very own needs.
Allow yourself to dive deep into your essence. Embark on a journey to yourself. All the stories that have separated us from ourselves can end. We immerse ourselves in the community of wonderful women and allow a new trusting togetherness to emerge. We can recognize the light in each of us and let it grow.
