Yin Yoga is a quiet, meditative practice that leads the body and mind into deep relaxation. Unlike dynamic yoga styles, Yin Yoga is based on holding poses for long periods of time in a relaxed manner. Fascia, ligaments, and joints are gently stretched, the breath deepens, and inner tensions are released. This creates space for regeneration, mindfulness, and new energy. In a world that is determined by the outside, Yin Yoga invites you to listen to your inner self—gently, healingly, and powerfully at the same time.
Our seminars open up a variety of approaches to Yin practice: In March, there will be two heart-opening weekends – Mindfulness & Devotion (March 6–8) and Bhakti Love (March 20–22), where sound and silence meet. The intensive week Yin Meets Sivananda (April 19–24) combines dynamism in the morning with deep calm in the afternoon. In May, we continue with Yin & Yang Yoga (May 1–3), a harmonious interplay of activity and stillness. This is followed by the six-day retreat Yin Yoga with Intuitive Soundscapes (May 10–15), which creates space for inner sounds and subtle perception, and Yin Yoga & Fascia Training (May 15–17), which focuses specifically on fascia work.
While muscles react to quick impulses, fascia needs time and subtle stimuli. Holding the poses for longer creates a soothing depth that has an effect on a physical, mental, and emotional level.
All seminars are aimed at people with basic knowledge of yoga and meditation who long for peace, depth, and inner balance. Yin Yoga invites you to slow down—and thereby get closer to yourself again.
