Arrival by car
No matter which direction you are coming from, getting to St. Martin am Tennengebirge in Salzburger Land is easy, convenient and uncomplicated.
Arrival via the A8 - the journey is the destination
If you are traveling to Salzburg from Germany, you will be overwhelmed by the magnificent mountain scenery as soon as you reach the foothills of the Alps shortly after Munich. On the A8, you pass Bavaria's largest lake, the Chiemsee. Once you have passed this lake, you will soon have a view of the Salzburg mountains. From the A8, continue directly onto the A10, the Tauernautobahn. Please note that toll stickers are compulsory in Austria - you can get them at the German service stations just before the Austrian border. Continue on the A10 until you reach the Hüttau exit. Leave the Tauernautobahn at this exit. Follow the main road in the direction of Lammertal/St. Martin/Lungötz and turn left 50 meters after the town sign for Lungötz. Follow the road into the Lammertal, where your Berghotel Lämmerhof is located.

If you are traveling to the Lammertal from the east, follow the A1 towards Linz/St. Pölten for around 280 kilometers until the A10/E55 exit. Continue in the direction of Graz/Villach/Salzburg Süd. You will be greeted by the imposing mountains of the Salzburger Land and will accompany you on your way to the Lammertal. Follow the A10 to the Hüttau exit and leave the Tauernautobahn at this point. Take the main road in the direction of Lammertal/St.Martin/Lungötz and turn off 50 meters after the Lungötz town sign. Follow the road into the Lammertal, where your Berghotel Lämmerhof is located.
