If your everyday life leaves little room for rest and reflection, you can use these days to invite clarity, calm, and structure into your life, to shed unnecessary baggage, to sort through your thoughts, and to focus on what is essential. Recharge your batteries so that you can face winter full of energy and with a strengthened immune system.
We start each day with an energizing, strengthening yoga practice that includes natural movement, breathing exercises, and meditation. In the afternoon, there is another group session, which is more relaxed. After the yoga sessions, we go to breakfast and dinner together, where you can share your experiences with the yoga teacher and ask questions. Between sessions, there is plenty of time for rest, wellness, spa treatments, walks in the adjacent forest, or whatever else you find beneficial.
Our certified yoga teacher Claudia Ballhaus, who also works therapeutically in the fields of yoga therapy, Chinese medicine, fascia therapy, and homeopathy in a naturopathic practice, will guide you mindfully through the yoga classes in our bright, well-ventilated exercise room, allowing you to feel your personal limits and motivating you to expand them individually.
The yoga classes are strongly based on Katonah Yoga—a very alignment-oriented yoga practice with a philosophy based on the 5-element theory from Chinese medicine, which in turn uses many elements from Iyengar Yoga and breathing techniques from Kundalini Yoga. Imagination is always integrated. Claudia Ballhaus likes to use metaphors to keep the mind present, so that you can ultimately arrive completely in the moment. The yoga classes are suitable for beginners and people with yoga experience alike. Ms. Ballhaus meets everyone where they are and provides precise, loving support to help them find a healthy alignment and posture in order to achieve the best possible benefits for the body, so that over time a feeling of stability, flexibility, and well-being can develop. Janne Böck combines spirituality, body awareness, and creative handicrafts into a holistic approach. As a yoga teacher, certified sound practitioner, and cacao ceremony facilitator, she creates spaces where people can connect with their hearts and dive deep into their inner worlds. Her sound baths and rituals combine intuition, grounding, and subtle energetic alignment.
The connection to matter is particularly close to her heart: as a budding ceramist, she devotes herself to shaping her own cups for her cacao ceremonies – each piece carries the energy of the moment. With her warm, empathetic manner, she invites you to become still, feel your own light, and let yourself be nourished by sound, cacao, and the touch of the heart.
In your free time, treat yourself to fine local cuisine at the Fischers Fritz Restaurant and a chopstick massage at the Birke Spa. It is advantageous to bring your own mats, but mats are also available on site.
Additional offer: In a private lesson, we can focus entirely on your needs. Using body reading, we identify structurally recognizable imbalances and work together to design a completely individual practice that you can take home with you. Private lesson, 60 minutes, €119.00
