In a small group, I will take you into my very personal world. Through the intuitive creation of nature art (LandArt) from cones, sticks, leaves and other materials, I invite you to surrender to the flow of the creative process in the here and now and to experience the magic and wisdom that flows through you and everything in this universe.
Nature art - EarthArt - LandArt
LandArt or EarthArt are ephemeral works of art that we create in nature from naturally found materials. Creating in and with our soul home, nature, opens a portal to the universal power of creation and our own creative essence. As we create nature art, we are fully present in the moment and experience ourselves as part of the great sacred whole. In the here and now, we find inner peace and mindfulness. We enter a dimension of healing and wisdom, full of answers to our questions and infinite possibilities.
While creating, we experience playfully and held by Mother Earth that we are part of the eternal cosmic cycle of becoming and passing away. We understand the interplay between the two forces of "creating" and "being created". When we create with nature, we realize that we are not the only ones involved in the creative process. All the elements, the materials, the place and a magical elemental force work with us.
In this way, we experience that we can and may actively shape our own vitality in harmony with the rhythm of the universe and that we can simultaneously be shaped and grow through trusting devotion to the flow of life.
We are thus gifted in a way that overwhelms us again and again and fills us with deep gratitude.
Places
I will take you to very special places that are sacred to me and that have touched me deeply for many years.
I will show you a different place on each of the 4 days. Among other things, we will visit an enchanting river valley, colorful mountain meadows with far-reaching views, magical forests and other very powerful natural places.
I choose the places so that they offer us very different materials and possibilities.
Daily content
- Every day we create with different materials.
- For the most part, everyone creates for themselves, but here and there we also create something together.
- We share and reflect on our works and processes with each other on a daily basis, thereby witnessing and strengthening each other.
- The creative process in nature and also in nature art is cyclical. We will explore what this means and how it relates to the great cycles of the cosmos and life.
- Creating is a path with many steps (for me there are about 10), from intention, to letting go, to creating, to contemplating, to letting go, just to name a few. Each step on this path opens up new dimensions of insight and connection and relates to something in us or our lives. In this workshop I will guide you step by step through this process and you will learn what gifts for our lives we can find on this creative journey.
- You will learn different creative techniques, which we will then explore individually and together.
- Each day has its own themes. They arise from the places we will be in, but also from the group, our personal and shared experiences.
- Mindful, beautiful rituals and exercises, bathing in the ice-cold river and conscious dance will accompany our time together.
We open our hearts, perceive, allow ourselves to be touched, experience silence, play, connect, feel everything and share our love, wildness, magic and wisdom with each other.
The magically beautiful landscape holds us safely in its arms and shows us our own unique wild beauty.
Who is this workshop suitable for?
For anyone who wants to open up to it. This workshop is not about "improving" our artistic skills or even becoming an artist (although that can happen 😊).
Rather, it is about opening up to our intuitive creative life force and trusting it. It is as strong as the creative power of the universe from which it springs, and
accompanies us in every decision we make, in our thinking, speaking, dreaming and planning. Our unfolded creative power enables us to shape our liveliness in such a way that we can live fulfilled, grateful and in inner peace.
I would like to make this tangible in these 4 days.
So whether you have never been artistically creative, or just a little, or already feel like an artist, this workshop is for you.
Where does the workshop take place?
In the Czech National Park Šumava - Bohemian Forest (bordering the Bavarian Forest). We will move between the villages of Srní, Prašily, Modrava and Horska Kvilda. During the 4 days we will visit different places in the national park. The nearest airports are Prague and Munich.
Terrain - physical requirements
We will be traveling on forest and hiking trails, sometimes graveled, sometimes not. There may be ruts and it can also be muddy. We hike between 2-6 kilometers per day. We are in a low mountain range, so it is uphill and downhill, but mostly shallow and not too much.
Accommodation, food, transportation and mobility
Each participant organizes their own travel, accommodation, food and mobility on site. There is not much public transportation, so it would be good if you have a car/rental car available. You can find accommodation via Booking and Airbnb. It makes sense to stay in the area around Srní, Prašily and Modrava. If you need help booking accommodation, I will be happy to assist you.
Please also take care of your own meals.
What do the individual days look like?
We meet every day for 5-7 hours at a different location.
1st day 11.30 - 17.30
2nd day 12.00 - 18.00
3rd day 13.30 - 19.30
4th day 12.00 - 18.00
You will receive detailed information about the meeting points from me in good time.
Of course we can organize car pools.
What do I need for the workshops?
- Food and drink for the time together
- Seat cushion, perhaps also a blanket
- Towel and swimsuit if you don't want to swim naked
- Bathing shoes if you like, some bathing spots are very rocky.
- Robust collection bag
- Sturdy kitchen scissors
- If it is sunny: sun protection: hat, possibly sun cream or clothing that protects the body well
- If it is fresh and windy: hat, good warm jacket and shoes
- If it rains: good waterproof rainwear (poncho or jacket and trousers) and waterproof shoes
- MP3 player or phone plus headphones, on the phone your music that you would like to dance to. The songs should be downloaded onto the phone or player. Many places here do not have a data network.
Languages
I speak German and English so the workshop can be in 2 languages. We agree on the language that most of us speak. I will translate for the others. It will probably be a colorful German-English mishmash, we'll take the time to translate everything so that all of us can understand everything.
Weather
As the entire workshop takes place outside, we are dependent on the weather. If it is too wild and wet, we may have to cancel parts of the workshop.
Force majeure
If I am unable to give this workshop at short notice for any sudden reason such as illness or injury, I will refund your workshop fee. However, I will not be able to refund your travel, accommodation and food costs.
