The 800-year-old square farmstead in a secluded location with views over the rolling hills of the Mühlviertel region offers the ideal atmosphere for a sustainable break. Try new things, clear your head, and feel the impulse for change. Find retreat and tranquility at the natural swimming pond, in the woods, and in the vastness of the gently rolling landscape. Enjoy moments of relaxation in the sauna, scented with Swiss pine, and in the evening in a cozy gathering around the fire pit.

Catering

At the Kleebauer Hof Retreat Center, you can expect modern, vegetarian-vegan cuisine. Start your day with a feel-good breakfast featuring breads, jams, cheese, freshly prepared porridge, fruit, a variety of milks, yogurt, fruit juices, spreads, coffee, and various teas. At 2 p.m., we serve a light lunch with a warming soup and spreads with bread or pastries.

The days begin with morning yoga sessions that gently awaken, mobilize, and strengthen the body. The practice is deliberately structured to help you arrive in your own body and develop a stable foundation for the day. Breath and movement intertwine to promote presence and inner alignment.

In the breathwork sessions, the work goes one level deeper. Connected breathing opens up space for emotions, inner processes, and conscious experience. Everything is allowed to be there—at your own pace, supported by a clear, safe framework. Breathwork helps to release tension, experience inner spaciousness, and encounter yourself on a deeper level.

Between the group sessions, there is plenty of time for integration and retreat. Guided activities such as journaling or somatic movement exercises help to process and embody the experience. At the same time, there is consciously free time – for rest, walks, reflection, or simply doing nothing. This creates a natural rhythm of depth, relaxation, and inner openness.

In the evening, calm formats such as Yin Yoga, Yoga Nidra, or a singing circle invite you to gently wind down the day. The focus is on relaxation, regulation of the nervous system, and a feeling of inner connectedness. The daily schedule serves as a loving guide and is adapted to group dynamics, energy, and external conditions. Program highlights in detail:

By car From Linz: via Ottensheim on the Rohrbach federal highway to Altenfelden From Passau: via Oberkappel or Engelhartszell to Altenfelden By train To Linz main station, from here there are regular bus connections to Altenfelden, pick-up from the Altenfelden bus station is included at fixed times:

Pick-up from the bus: 2:36 p.m. and 3:36 p.m. (registration at least 24 hours before arrival) Transfer to the bus: 9:50 a.m. and 10:50 a.m.
