This retreat focuses on breathing as the key to inner spaciousness, self-awareness, and regulation. When the breath is no longer controlled or held back, but given space, the nervous system can calm down. Stress is released, the mind becomes clearer, and a feeling of inner stability and openness arises. From this connection, it becomes possible to perceive more finely what is harmonious—both in your own body and in your inner experience. A central access point to breathing is the voice. Breath and voice are in direct interaction: a free, lively voice needs sustained, permeable breath—and at the same time, voice work deepens the connection to breathing. Through simple voice, resonance, and sound exercises, you explore your own expression in a playful and meditative way. Resonance becomes tangible in the body, can be experienced in shared sound, and blockages in the nervous system can gently dissolve.
Meditative awareness exercises based on elements of qigong and neigong are also incorporated, but this is not a traditional qigong course. The focus is on working with attention, inner calm, and presence. These quieter sequences alternate with breathing, voice, and movement phases and support the integration of the experience.
The work combines different approaches from breath work, nervous system work, body-mind centering, functional voice training, and psychologically based self-awareness. The psychological context is consciously included: it is not just about technique, but about the quality of the experience—about perceiving inner states, understanding one's own patterns, and dealing mindfully with what arises.
Phases of sound, movement, and expression are repeatedly complemented by periods of silence. Pausing, feeling, and reflecting are essential components of the retreat and enable lasting integration. In this way, breath, voice, and body can be experienced as allies—on the path to greater presence, clarity, and lived inner freedom. What you will take away from the retreat:
