Especially with early traumatic experiences, we can't remember because our neocortex wasn't developed yet, but our body memory can.
My concern for you is that you learn to be with all your emotions, that the challenges no longer flood you, but that you create a containment in which you find ways to be with them, to regulate yourself and no longer have to distract yourself, whether with work, sport, Netflix, social media or anything else.
