"When the waves crash above me, I dive down to find shells." -Mascha Kaleko- Holistic island retreat with yoga & qi gong, art therapy, meditation, singing, dancing, and sweat lodge ceremony.
In this retreat, we combine yoga and embodiment with art therapy, a shamanic sweat lodge ceremony, and singing and sharing circles. We use the power of the elements in this retreat and follow the Shamanic Medicine Wheel in the sequence. Day 1: Air, Day 2: Fire, Day 3: Water, Day 4: Earth
We also pamper our bodies with exclusively organic superfoods from our own permaculture garden and from a friendly organic farm nearby. To rid ourselves of everyday toxins and supply our bodies with new energy, selected detox teas and smoothies are available throughout the day.
We limit ourselves to two easily digestible, vegan main meals and refrain from coffee and sugar. In this retreat, we want to give you the opportunity to reconnect and communicate with your body and soul. This is especially successful when we refrain from stimulants and allow ourselves a break and cleansing.
Enjoy the tranquility of the island and morning yoga, let yourself be inspired by the colors and sounds of the sea... Find space for your dreams, desires, and inner images in the studio and in nature, and deepen your experiences of the day in the evening meditation with sound, voice, and dance, reconnecting with nature and your innermost being.
The sauna, sweat lodge, and hot tub right by the sea offer you an unforgettable experience of nature. Shamanic sweat lodge ceremony: The sweat lodge as a cleansing and renewal ritual for health on all levels. It grounds you, centers you, and guides you to your core, connecting you with your inner nature. After a period of preparation, we enter the sweat lodge dressed in cotton cloth. Stones heated in the fire are placed in a hole in the center of the lodge and doused with water. The ritual consists of four rounds. Each represents a season and its associated element. We give thanks, make requests, let go, and empty ourselves to receive something new. Refreshed and regenerated, we return to everyday life feeling reborn. We cleanse ourselves on a physical level through sweating (temperatures and climate similar to those in a steam sauna) and on a mental and emotional level by feeling, expressing, and sharing feelings and desires. On a spiritual level, this ritual allows us to consciously reconnect with the nature that surrounds us and open ourselves to oneness with everything. Traditionally, the sweat lodge is compared to the womb of Pacha Mama, Mother Earth, and through this symbolism invites us to feel whole, natural, completely right, and secure again. The end of the ceremony, when everyone leaves the sweat lodge individually and carefully, is seen by traditional cultures (North American and Central American traditions) as a rebirth. Use this special time for your inner strength and your visions!
