During this weekend, the two instructors will teach a mix of centering, relaxing and health-promoting qigong and a light kung fu form. Both Qigong and the Kung Fu form can be easily integrated into everyday life and thus practiced sustainably. Kerstin Wessel is a certified Qigong and meditation teacher and Marcel Sturm is a certified Qigong and Kung Fu trainer and fitness coach. The mixture and constant alternation between activity and relaxation is what makes the weekend course so special. The weekend is suitable for beginners and advanced practitioners alike. In the relaxing atmosphere of the monastery, it is particularly easy to immerse yourself in a completely different world of fitness and relaxation. Simply unwind and do something for your health and fitness at the same time! All-round care with all main meals, drinks and snacks round off the weekend and guarantee rest and relaxation.

The Nikolauskloster is located close to the metropolis of Cologne and the state capital Düsseldorf, in the middle of the up-and-coming Rhine district of Neuss, between Mönchengladbach and Grevenbroich. Close to the A46 and yet surrounded by idyllic greenery, the monastery is easy to reach.
By car: Coming from Neuss via the A46, take exit 14 "Grevenbroich-Kapellen" onto the L361 and drive in the direction of "Schloss Dyck" onto the L32. Then follow the signs for "Nikolauskloster", which is on your left.
By train or bus: From Neuss main station, there is a regular bus service in the direction of Jüchen to the "Scherfhausen" stop, the "Denkmal" stop or the "Schloss Dyck" stop.

Kerstin and Marcel were great. Both have the gift of explaining Chigong and Kongfu in a simple way and also teaching newcomers in a short time. It was a very nice, unfortunately much too short retreat.

This weekend was a very special experience. First and foremost the two trainers Kerstin and Marcel. They supported, taught and strengthened us as a unit. The whole group was super motivated and successful in the end. I will definitely take part in further retreats with them. The accommodation and the food in the monastery are unique. A big compliment to the many volunteers who make the stay so unforgettable.
I booked this time out at the monastery for my husband. He was extremely satisfied with the entire organization, catering and also the courses offered by the two very friendly trainers. Sharing great moments with great people in a fantastic atmosphere. A big compliment and thank you to everyone involved.

It exceeded my expectations. Simply superb.
It was a brilliant weekend at Nikolauskloster with Kerstin and Marcel, two wonderful people who led the workshop and gave us so much strength for body and mind. Plus accommodation and top catering by the Nikolauskloster. The spiritual environment in the monastery and the beautifully landscaped monastery garden and, as a gift, the wonderful weather. Just dive in! An all-round harmonious and valuable weekend. Marcel and Kirsten are a top team.
