You may have heard phrases such as "I was shocked to the core" or "that shocked me to the core"
These words are no coincidence - they show what body psychotherapy today also confirms: how deeply our body is connected to our feelings and that our body remembers.
Traumatic experiences leave not only psychological but also physical traces - the so-called body memory.
Many people feel cut off inside as a result. Emotions appear like a diffuse tangle or burst out overwhelmingly. Physical impulses cannot be clearly assigned - and therefore cannot be safely regulated. The body feels tight or numb, as if cut off from life, and often we don't even realize how much we are pushing away or enduring in everyday life.
But at some point, the moment comes when we feel that things can't go on like this.
We long to be alive again. To feel ourselves. To feel safe and secure in our own body.
If this all sounds familiar to you and you feel the desire to make peace with your body, then I would like to encourage you:
Because the body was the place of pain, it can also be the place of reconnection. Involving the body can be a wonderful companion when cognitive understanding reaches its limits.
And it is precisely for this reconnection that I have created this 1:1 retreat.
In a protected setting, embedded in the calming power of nature - between forest, mountains and water, trauma-sensitive yoga invites you to get back in touch with yourself step by step. TSY gives your nervous system security - through mindful movements and loving awareness.
This retreat should be a place where you don't have to do anything. Where you can just be. You don't need to do anything "right" here. It's not about performance, correct yoga poses, unnatural breathing or enduring silence.
It's about meeting yourself - mindfully, non-judgementally and lovingly. It's about understanding yourself better and feeling safe and alive in your body,
We work with gentle, present-oriented physical exercises that support you in perceiving your body signals more clearly. To stay lovingly with you when emotions arise and to make your needs, boundaries and own pace clear - instead of ignoring them.
TSY is easy to learn, even with physical limitations, and can be practiced wherever you are. It was important to me to find a body method that you can also implement on your own after the retreat.
Over time, you will notice how your body trusts you again - and you trust it. How it becomes more and more of a safe place that feels alive and secure. How you listen to it again and can feel what is going on and what you need. And how good that can feel.
What else awaits you on this retreat:
- Nature connection and forest bathing
- "Honest sharing" (a mindful form of feeling and communicating)
- Time for retreat, peace and quiet and to arrive at yourself
If you wish, nature rituals or energetic work will round off your retreat in the evening - such as a soul retrieval or rebirth ritual. These powerful additions can support your inner journey.
If this call reaches you - if your heart whispers a quiet "yes" - then I look forward to accompanying you on your journey.
Back into your body. Back to yourself. Back to life.
