Some people therefore often only feel themselves in a very undifferentiated way and do not perceive their body as a safe home. Their own body can feel numb, tight and tense.
Emerging emotions and their bodily impulses also often feel blurred or overwhelming and cannot be assigned and responded to accordingly.

In the protected setting of this 1:1 retreat surrounded by nature and tranquillity, trauma-sensitive yoga invites you to reconnect with your body step by step.
Mindfully, lovingly and at your own pace. Physical exercises in the here & now help you to get out of old patterns and feel more alive again.
Over time, you will learn to perceive your body's signals better and better, to stay with yourself and to observe the emotions that arise in your body. These are valuable signposts for your own boundaries and needs, which no longer need to be pushed away or numbed, because emotion regulation can be learned, consciously acting on your impulses instead of reacting will increasingly become a new habit.
TSY is free of performance demands, because when the body has learned to protect itself, it doesn't need effort, but safety and connection.
It is not about enduring elaborate yoga poses, unnatural breathing exercises or forced stillness, but about returning to mindful awareness, autonomy and peace and friendship with yourself and your body. With everything it does, because everything is allowed to be as it is.
Growing body awareness makes your body a familiar, safe place. You learn to trust it again and to become safer and more effective yourself.
TSY is easy to learn and can also be practiced alone and self-determined at your own pace and within reason after the retreat. Even physical limitations are no obstacle.
In my 1:1 yoga retreat - surrounded by forest, water and mountains - I will show you various yoga and embodiment exercises.
Forest bathing sessions and daily EM together (honest sharing to feel and name your body sensations, emotions and thoughts) round off this retreat.

In addition to my psychological expertise, I am also happy to support you with shamanic energy work and nature rituals, which have always been used by our ancestors to maintain health and make the soul whole.
On the evening of your 2nd retreat day, there will be time and space for this if you wish and are open to it.
In this retreat, soul retrieval, protection rituals, rebirth rituals, weighing rituals etc. can be powerful additions.
