Summary

We focus primarily on the oldest form of meditation, sitting in silence. This simple technique has lost none of its effectiveness over the centuries. As in the various traditions handed down to us, we allow ourselves to sit down, do nothing and simply be "alert". We simply leave ourselves and the world as it is, without intervening, without judging and without acting.
This sounds very simple at first, and yet we often find that we are confronted with many issues in our lives in silence. There is the mind with its to-do list, there are expectations and demands, emotions and sensations that show themselves as powerful opponents of silence. In this way, we experience an extremely powerful process that allows us to gain distance from our thoughts, feelings and physical sensations. In all traditions, great importance is attached to "the art of silence". "The art of expecting silence in its purest form and then dissolving into it is the high school of LOVE". This is what resonates like an E I N E S in all traditions, no matter where they come from.

Seminar leader:
We are Marion and Bernhard Hötzel and we each have over 45 years of meditation experience, of which we have been working as meditation teachers for 20 years.
In our own institute, as well as guest teachers at other institutes and as lecturers for NEURO-Meditation at the TH-Campus Vienna. We have received traditional training in Asia, the USA and Europe and are very familiar with the humanistic psychology of our modern times.

Accommodation

You will be accommodated in the Landhaus Meingast, a historic, very quiet guest house within walking distance of the ZENraum. Or in the newly renovated youth guest house. As the number of single rooms in both houses is limited, it is advisable to book early. We are happy to take care of other accommodation should you require something else.

Catering

All meals are vegetarian, Ayurvedic and vegan. We are happy to take any intolerances into consideration. Please let us know your requirements before the start of the course so that we can discuss everything with you personally.

We will choose the accommodation for you. This will be within walking distance of the ZEN room and all participants will be accommodated there.

THE CONTENT

The participants spend more than two thirds of the seminar time in silence. At certain times during the seminar there will be
time for sharing and exchanging experiences. In addition, there will be individual discussions in which
questions and topics that arise during the silence and meditation can be named and explored.
Essential components

Intensive strengthening of self-compassion

the active meditations
The individual exercise phases (sitting, lying down and mindful YOGA exercises) rarely last longer than 30 minutes.
The morning active meditations have a duration of 60 minutes, in which movement, breathing and stillness alternate,
breathing and stillness alternate.

Lectures

In addition to the detailed instructions for the respective meditations, short talks are given,
which deal with the everyday challenges of our lives,

Arrival

By car, train or plane to Salzburg.

From the airport, take the city bus 2 to the main train station. From Salzburg main station, take the Postbus 140 to Mondsee bus station every 30 minutes. From here you can reach much of the accommodation on foot. The center is also within walking distance of many accommodations.

You can reach us by car via Salzburg, Vienna or Linz on the A1. Mondsee has its own exit.

Full refund up to 61 days before arrival.
If you cancel up to 10 days before arrival, you will receive a 20% refund of the booking price.
After this, the booking is non-refundable.

If a replacement participant is provided, only a processing fee of EUR 50 will be charged.
Revocation:
You have the right to cancel this contract within fourteen days of conclusion without giving any reason. Restriction: However, this only applies if the period from booking to the start of the course is not less than 21 days.
