This retreat offers you a deep insight into the practice of self-inquiry, inspired by the teachings of Sri Ramana Maharshi. The days begin with morning yoga and meditation, followed by exercises in which you learn the practice of self-inquiry and gain a deep understanding of yourself and the nature of life. This powerful, millennia-old tool helps you to question the illusory "I" – the cause of all our problems – and to penetrate to the core of your being, where you will find inner peace, love, and clarity.

You can then apply the practice of self-inquiry in your everyday life. It supports you in detaching yourself from conditioning and connecting deeply with your self. The weekend also includes group meditations, mantra chanting with live music, heart dance, reflection rounds, and a film about the teachings of Sri Ramana Maharshi. Arrival: Friday 6 p.m.

The idyllic courtyard with its large, old walnut tree, the soothing sound of the fountain, and a chorus of singing birds offers a space to breathe deeply, relax, and simply be. The numerous works of art in the house are a delight: paintings, sculptures, and photographs created by artists from a place of inner silence.

Full board with vegetarian meals. We value organic food, have our own honey from local bees, and cook fresh every day with a generous helping of love. Of course, we can also cater for vegan, lactose-free, and gluten-free preferences and any allergies.
