4 days man and horse: experience what balance means, detailed ground work, riding in the nature park

Summary

In this retreat, we will leave the daily grind behind and find inspiration for the beautiful company of our horses and for gentle and sustaining training in ground work. Total balance will be our focus during these 3 days; mental and physical balance. This includes components such as horse husbandry, social life including behavior, physical health and of course training. Training from the ground, i.e. at eye level with the horse, enables us to immerse ourselves in precise movement analysis and the biomechanical conditions and relationships. We also become aware of our own body language, which makes us sensitive partners for the horses. We alternate between exploring new theoretical scientific findings in the equestrian world, studying on real skellet models and trying out our horses in the arena. Individual sequences will be filmed for training purposes if the participants have given their consent. During the exercises in contact with our horses, emphasis is placed on carefully analyzing the mood of the animals by carefully observing their behaviour so that trust can be built up.
We allow ourselves to be infected by the horses' subtle way of communicating. We look for lightness in every movement.
The offer is for horse lovers who enjoy further development and for horse owners with ambitions for advanced ground work. If the booking date falls on a weekend clinic here in the Tarifa area, it is possible that other interested parties will join the theory parts and the language will be changed from German to English.
On the last day a wonderful day or half-day ride is offered. Depending on your wishes.
The nature park offers the rider: narrow sandy paths through dense pine forests, hills and valleys, beach passages and open meadows to rest and take a break.

Accommodation

There are 3 cozy, small and simple bungalows for rent right next to the pastures. They each have a 2-bed room, a simple kitchen and a small shower. The willows are a 2-minute walk from the beach.
There is a cozy communal garden around the apartments, which is ideal for a refreshing drink in between.

Catering

Lunch, water, tea, dried fruit and fruit are included in the price every day. If you don't have breakfast in your room, you won't miss out here on the course. Vegetarian menus can be ordered at lunchtime. Transportation to the restaurants is provided. (We form small groups of max. 4-5 people).

In this retreat, new valuable experiences are made, both in terms of gentle communication and an expanded perception of the connections between horse health and horse training. We will also be inspired by short theoretical journeys into the historical past of the old riding masters.
The horses eat three times a day, so we have enough time to exchange our own experiences and devote our time to science. There is enough private time for evening walks on the beach or similar.

In the town of Tarifa or along the beaches, the restaurants and chirinquitos often offer live concerts in the summer months.
The surrounding area invites you to stroll, explore and relax. The sunsets on the beach are unforgettable.

We are happy to help with the transfer from Tarifa to the seminar venue.
The rental of a car (from the airport) can also be shared with other course participants in an emergency.

Full refund up to 90 days before arrival.
If you cancel up to 60 days before arrival, you will receive a 50% refund of the booking price.
After this, the booking is non-refundable.
