In a very personal setting, you will learn about your constitutional type according to the doshas of Ayurvedic teachings.
The focus of this week is on (re)discovering your own inner balance. After each participant’s individual constitutional type has been determined according to Ayurvedic health teachings, self-massages and detoxification practices help to cleanse the body.
A light Ayurvedic diet then allows the body to experience this week with ease. Mindfulness exercises, meditations, and gentle yoga exercises strengthen the body. A day of silence helps you recognize and let go of mental baggage, allowing peace and relaxation to settle in your mind as well.
Seminar Leader:
Bernhard Hötzel was trained in classical traditional Ayurveda in India in 1982 by Maharishi Mahesh Yogi and continues to teach the classical form of Ayurveda to this day.
We are Marion and Bernhard Hötzel, and we each have 45 years of meditation experience, 20 of which we have spent working as meditation teachers.
At our own institute, as well as guest instructors at other institutes and lecturers for NEURO-Meditation at the TH-Campus Vienna. We have received traditional training in Asia, the USA, and Europe, and are very familiar with humanistic psychology and our modern times.

Das Stadthaus befindet sich in Petra und das liegt im Herzen von Mallorca, zwischen Inca und Manacor und bietet neben den 4 aufwändig renovierten Zimmerm mit modernen Bädern, eine Dachterrasse mit freiem Blick auf die Umgebung, mit der Tramuntana, den Weinbergen und dem Kloster Bonany. Ein kleines Patio ( Hof) lädt zum Frühstücken ein. Der ZENraum, im Herzen des Hauses, ist ein Ort der Stille und Begegnung und der ZENgarten, mit seinem zauberhaften kleinen Sommerhaus, befindet sich in unmittelbarer Nähe. Hier gibt es verschiedene Meditationsplätze unter freiem Himmel und in dem eigens dafür gestalteten Wasserbecken, bekommt die Gehmeditation eine andere Dimension.

During Health Week at our retreat in Mallorca, you will learn not only about the Indian healing art of Ayurveda but also the essential aspects of MBSR. Based on the Indian healing art of Ayurveda, you will learn to treat your body with mindfulness. In addition to deep peace and relaxation, you will have the opportunity for an exciting and extraordinary encounter with yourself. Through mindfulness, you will encounter the deeper layers of your being.

You will get an up-close look at Ayurvedic cuisine. We plan to prepare the shared meals together with the group so that you can take practical tips and tricks home with you. The theoretical knowledge will be presented in short introductory talks based on the Ayurvedic “dosha” teachings.

Take the train or plane to Palma de Mallorca, and then take the bus or train to Petra-Mallorca.
We’d be happy to pick you up from the airport at cost.
Additional excursions to the coast and the island’s interior are planned. In Petra itself, there are some beautiful hiking trails just waiting to be explored.
If a substitute participant is provided, only a processing fee of €50 will be charged.
