What to Expect During Your Fasting Retreat at Lake Chiemsee!
During your week-long fasting retreat, you’ll follow a mindful and natural daily rhythm that gently supports both body and mind. Each day is thoughtfully designed to harmoniously alternate between movement, rest, community, and time for yourself. The focus isn’t on performance, but on your personal experience. All activities are optional—you are free to follow your own pace at any time.
The morning begins calmly and without rush. Gentle movement exercises or a light warm-up allow your body to wake up slowly. A group meditation helps you consciously start the day and find your inner center. Over a cup of fasting tea, we share our thoughts in a relaxed atmosphere as the new day begins at Lake Chiemsee.
In the course of the morning, we head out into nature. Short hikes or mindful walks around the lake support the fasting process and gently get your circulation going. Moving in the fresh air brings both clarity and calm. There are frequent moments of silence, time to breathe deeply or to be alone—to write, reflect, or simply be.
Lunchtime is all about regeneration. Fasting beverages such as vegetable and fruit juices, tea, water, lemon, and a little honey support the body, while periods of rest allow it to cleanse itself and build up new energy. Soothing treatments such as liver wraps or Kneipp therapies further promote relief and well-being.
In the afternoon, gentle activation sessions such as LifeKinetik or light exercise sessions follow, engaging both body and mind. In addition, you’ll receive mindful guidance on nutrition, body awareness, and sustainable self-care in daily life. Voluntary group discussions foster connection, understanding, and often surprisingly valuable insights.
The evening invites you to let go. A quiet meditation or relaxation session helps you consciously bring the day to a close and integrate your experiences. In a quiet, protected atmosphere, the day winds down with a cup of tea, while your body and nervous system are allowed to settle deeply into rest.
Throughout the week, you will receive personal guidance and support. There is space for questions, individual concerns, and personal development. The small group creates a trusting environment where everyone is welcome—just as they are.
This fasting retreat is not a break with fixed expectations, but an invitation: back to your body, to greater clarity, and to a new, light connection with yourself.
