Discover the many facets of Mallorca during our yoga and hiking week and find your inner peace. In the spring and fall, the tranquil, unspoiled island life is palpable—a special treat. During our hikes (two to four hours), which take us through diverse landscapes, you’ll discover traditional villages, colorful markets, and the island’s rich flora, while learning fascinating facts about the culture and history of this Balearic island.
PROGRAM DETAILS
Depending on the daily schedule, we’ll start the day with a morning yoga session (1 hour). Another session (1.5 hours) is scheduled for the late afternoon. The teaching is based on Hatha Yoga, though the yoga sessions can be dynamic and flowing at times, and meditative and relaxed at others. The program leader incorporates her experience from other forms of movement into the practice. It is important to her to convey precise physical alignment and to enable participants to delve into deeper layers of the body. This creates “meditation in motion” and a clear, healthy sense of body and mind. The yoga sessions are equally suitable for beginners as well as more experienced participants.
Depending on the season and weather, we will explore the island’s impressive landscapes on foot during three hikes (two to four hours, easy difficulty).
The program is weather-dependent and subject to change. There are no scheduled activities on the arrival and departure days.
We travel by minibus to the starting points of some hikes.
For the full-day hikes, you will receive a packed lunch instead of lunch at the finca.
Depending on the mood and weather conditions, the afternoon yoga sessions may occasionally take place by the sea or in the beautiful natural surroundings.
