Autumn Glow – The Chakra Concept in Yoga, Meditation, and the Ancient Scriptures
Aschau im Chiemgau, Germany
$832 / 5 Days
In our fast-paced world, we’ve lost the ability to find deep peace and a sense of connection with ourselves. This yoga retreat invites you to do just that. Here in the beautiful Odenwald near Höchst, you can calm your nervous system and immerse yourself in the state of simply being. In this way, you’ll strengthen your connection to yourself—and lay the foundation for reconnecting with others in an authentic and intimate way.
We’ll practice gentle Yin Yoga, which guides your body and mind into stillness, and invigorating Hatha Yoga, which helps you gain new strength, willpower, and focus. Healing meditations, soothing breathing exercises (pranayama), and periods of deep relaxation round out our shared practice and allow you to fully arrive in the here and now.
You’ll also participate in a workshop on nervous system regulation and resilience, where you’ll learn how your nervous system works and how to regulate yourself. This will help you lay the foundation for inner stability—and rediscover your natural sense of calm. Exhale. Let go. Find your center.

By car:
1.) Via the A3 (e.g., when traveling from Frankfurt):
Take the A3 to the Hanau exit—continue toward Dieburg until the Dieburg exit, then follow signs for Höchst i. Odenwald. – On the B 45, about 5 km past Groß-Umstadt, turn right toward Otzberg and follow the B 426 for about 3 km to Zipfen. Turn left there and continue up the hill toward Hummetroth / Hassenroth. – ATTENTION! Once “at the top,” take the second right after “the Italian restaurant” toward Hummetroth / Hassenroth! Continue along the scenic route through the forest for about 3 km, then turn right directly into the town. (Note! Just before the village, “Oberklingen” is signposted. Turn right here!)
2.) If approaching via the A45 or A66 to the Hanauer Kreuz interchange, then drive through Hanau on the expressway toward Dieburg and continue as described above.
3.) Via the A5:
From the north, or if coming via the A67: Take the Darmstädter Kreuz exit and drive through Darmstadt (city traffic!) toward Dieburg / Aschaffenburg onto the B 26. At the Dieburg exit, head toward Höchst i. Odenwald and merge onto the B 45; continue initially toward Höchst until the “Otzberg” junction, then follow the directions above for those coming via the A3.
… or: Continue to the Darmstadt-Eberstadt exit and take the B 426 toward Höchst. From there, continue as described in the next paragraph….
From the south/southwest: Take the Darmstadt-Eberstadt exit and head toward Höchst i. Odenwald on the B 426 toward Mühltahl / Ober-Ramstadt. Continue on the B 426, passing through Reinheim. Leave Reinheim heading toward Höchst i. Odenwald. Continue on the B 426 through Lengfeld until you reach Zipfen. There, turn right toward Hassenroth and drive up the hill. – ATTENTION! Once “at the top,” take the second street on the right after “the Italian restaurant” toward Hummetroth / Hassenroth! Continue through the forest; after about 3 km, turn right directly into the town.
4.) Via the town of Höchst i. Odenwald: Take the bypass to the “Höchst-Mitte” exit, then follow the signs toward Brensbach/Hummetroth/Hassenroth until you reach the Hummetroth turnoff. Drive through the village and continue for another 2 km, then turn left into Hassenroth.
In Hassenroth:
From the village entrance, drive straight ahead to the small traffic island, pass it on the left, and continue straight ahead until you reach the small Sparkasse bank. Turn left there (“Am Steinberg”) and follow the road. This road merges into the street “Am Dachsrain.” The guesthouse is located immediately on the left there, on the hill. The entrance to the guesthouse is a little further up the street. You’ll also find parking there. Please do not park before reaching this point!
By train:
The nearest train stations are Groß Umstadt-Wiebelsbach and Höchst i. Odenwald (always specify this suffix; otherwise, you’ll end up in Höchst b. Frankfurt!). From there, it’s about 7 km to the guesthouse.
From Höchst, buses run, or you can order an on-demand bus (06061/979977). For bus schedule information, check the train schedule online and enter “Hassenroth” as your destination, for example, as shown here.
When traveling from Hanau, Darmstadt, or Frankfurt, Groß Umstadt-Wiebelsbach is one fare zone before Höchst and has a station bistro.
Please be sure to reserve taxis from both stations several hours in advance. Tel. 06163-5151 (Höchst) or 06078-4711 (Wiebelsbach). The fare is approximately 22–26 EUR each way.
The full seminar fee must be paid on the day of arrival or in the event of early departure.
