Recovery doesn't always follow a straight line. Sometimes you just need space to start over. Sometimes you need peace and quiet. Sometimes you need a new rhythm. And sometimes you just need a place where no one questions your decision to live alcohol-free.
Villa Torrent is an alcohol-free lifestyle retreat, born out of personal experience with sober living and the need for quiet, supportive spaces. It is a place for people who live alcohol-free. And for those who are drawn to a slower, healthier rhythm, away from noise, pressure, and daily overstimulation.
No large groups and no packed programs to "fix" yourself. Instead, you can expect hikes, good food, deceleration, nature, and genuine human connection. This retreat could be right for you if... ✔️ you live an alcohol-free lifestyle and are looking for a peaceful reset
✔️ you want a safe and supportive environment to reconnect with yourself ✔️ you are sober-curious or have decided to live an alcohol-free life and want to realign yourself in nature ✔️ you feel mentally exhausted and want to slow down, recharge your batteries, and get back to simple routines
✔️ you prefer a small, quiet group without pressure or performance expectations Important to know Participants remain alcohol-free during the retreat. This is not therapy, treatment, or a detox program. Consider it a calm and supportive environment that can complement personal growth or professional guidance, but never replace it.
Villa Torrent is not about a packed program or having to perform. It's about rhythm, fresh air, good food, and small moments that help your nervous system calm down again. You don't have to prove anything here. You can just be.
Morning: A gentle start in the countryside Early risers can help feed the chickens if they wish. Afterwards, we take a quiet morning walk with the dogs through the countryside as the world slowly awakens. With a cup of coffee or tea in hand, watch the sun rise and enjoy simple moments that have a surprisingly grounding effect.
After breakfast, we go for a walk or an easy hike in the surrounding area. The routes are easy to manage and usually take a maximum of about two hours, with plenty of breaks along the way. It's not about distance or performance, but about reconnecting with your body and calming your mind.
Afternoon: Shared meals and time to rest Back at Villa Torrent, we prepare a healthy lunch together. No complicated diet rules, just nourishing food and the simple pleasure of sitting together at the table.
After lunch, there is time for rest and free time. You can retreat to your accommodation, read a book, take a nap, enjoy the pool, or simply do nothing for a while. This is also part of relaxation. Several times a week, there may be optional yoga, exercise, or light sports sessions. These are relaxed, accessible, and adapted to the group.
There is also space for exchange and reflection on the topic of recovery in a safe and open atmosphere. You can participate or just listen. Both are perfectly fine. Evening: Coming to rest together In the evening, we cook and eat together again. After dinner, the atmosphere is relaxed. Maybe a game, a movie, or just quiet time together, without expectations.
We often end the day with a short, quiet check-in round, a simple moment to reflect on the day together. No therapy. Just mindfulness. Twice a week, there is the option to take part in a short evening meditation to help you unwind. Weekend: Valencia and the sea (optional)
On the weekend, there may be an optional trip to Valencia or a quiet beach walk for those who feel like a change of pace. Nothing rushed, just a different rhythm for the day. Everything is optional The daily structure is deliberately kept light and all activities are voluntary.
It is always perfectly fine to rest or skip something. Sometimes it is just right to join in. Sometimes quiet time for yourself is the better choice. You know yourself best, and there is room for that here. The common language during the retreat is English, so that international guests feel comfortable and can communicate well with each other.
