Becoming aware of our ancestral lineage gives us a sense of the immense potential inherent in it—potential that can be harnessed—and teaches us to actively integrate it into our lives.
Together, we tap into the power of the generations, awaken the life force and potential of our ancestors within us, and thus bring things full circle. At the same time, we honor and cherish the past and bring this power into the present.
Working with the ancestors is an important part of shamanic practice—this course is also a module of my year-long course “Shamanic Healing Knowledge” by P. Hinze.
This process is embedded in shamanic journeys and ceremonies. Rituals honoring and valuing our ancestors allow us to expand our own energy field and clear the ancestral lineage. What would the life of one of our ancestors have been like if fate hadn’t been so harsh?
On Sunday, we’ll focus on the ancestral wreath. It’s a beautiful ritual for connecting with our ancestors. We’ll craft this wreath from evergreen plants that we’ve gathered ourselves. This gift from nature symbolizes that death and parting are constant companions in our lives. We weave our thoughts into this arrangement, thereby giving it a personal touch.

A very healing and wonderful weekend with our dear Petra. Petra guided us very lovingly and sensitively through the realm of our ancestors, keeping all participants in mind and in her heart at all times and responding incredibly warmly to all our needs.
