Aroma, Sound, and Yoga in the Chiemgau Mountains

Ziehen Sie sich zurück in das Mountain Retreat Center in der Chiemgauer Bergwelt. Das Retreat Center hat 20 Zimmer mit Ausblick in die beeindruckende Naturlandschaft der Alpen. Da kann es schon passieren, dass man aus dem Nichts ins Staunen kommt. Immer wieder aufs Neue. Jedes unserer Zimmer ist für sich ein Rückzugsort der besonderen Art. Klein, fein, gemütlich.

All meals at the Mountain Retreat Center are vegetarian and vegan. The most important meal of the day—at least according to the Chinese—is breakfast. That’s why we also place special emphasis on a good, healthy breakfast—which always includes warm porridge. For lunch, you’ll enjoy soup, bread, and spreads, and in the evening, you’ll be treated to a delicious buffet featuring salad, creative vegetarian and vegan main courses, and dessert. Everything is freshly prepared and, whenever possible, made with seasonal ingredients. We can accommodate food intolerances with advance notice.

The vibrations of the singing bowls help release blockages and inner conflicts, open up inner spaces, and allow the mind to let go and relax. The use of certain essential oils during yoga sessions enhances the effects of the asanas (yoga poses) and the singing bowls, as the scents and fragrances have a direct connection to our soul. This is also because they act directly on the limbic system in the brain—the seat of emotions and unconscious perceptions—without any filtering. Through their regulating and harmonizing effects, they positively influence our mood and indirectly promote mental well-being and, consequently, our overall health.

The Mountain Retreat Center is located in the Chiemgau region of Germany, on the border with Austria.

Traveling by Car
Take the A8 highway (coming from Munich or Salzburg) and exit at Frasdorf, then head toward Aschau; from there, it’s a 15-minute drive to Sachrang.

Traveling by Train
Take the train or bus to Aschau or Prien im Chiemgau. From there, you can reach Sachrang either by bus (limited service) or by taxi.
Taxi fare from Aschau to the Mountain Retreat Center is approximately €35.

Traveling by Plane
The nearest airports are Munich or Salzburg; continue by train or bus.
