"Just be" in peaceful community Our annual summer retreat, "Just be – everything is allowed, nothing is mandatory," offers two weeks of "opportunity" for anyone who longs for peaceful community, group cooking, self-awareness, tranquility, closeness to nature, and evenings together around the campfire, and who wants to give themselves this gift. Apart from a few small fixed points, the schedule and duration of the stay are freely selectable. Whether you want to meditate, hike, swim, read, have conversations, try out musical instruments, paint, draw, take photos, bathe in the forest, practice mindfulness, go on excursions in the surrounding area, discover the many exciting corners of KULTURGUTLEBEN, work in the garden, observe nature, or simply relax in the garden and do nothing – everything is allowed, nothing is mandatory!
For everything, we recommend: digital detox! Hand in your cell phone or just your SIM card, or at least spend your days in airplane mode. You will see how much more relaxing your stay in nature will be for you.
Welcome to the space of possibilities: We offer you the opportunity to leave your everyday world behind for between three nights and two weeks and, if you wish, to disconnect from the digital world to a large extent or completely. Surprising encounters with other people, animals, plants, and yourself. In the paradisiacal KULTURGUTLEBEN, you enter a space of possibility where you can move freely – free from judgement, time pressure, free from limitations in exploring and living out your own self, free for happy coincidences. All this, of course, with a prudent, considerate concept of freedom, as formulated by Oliver Wendell Holmes (1841–1937): "The right to swing my fist ends where the nose of another [being] begins."
