You step away from your daily routine and connect with your creativity. Questions like “Who am I?”, “What are my strengths?”, “What really matters to me?”, and “What are my visions and goals?” often yield surprising answers, and it’s time to finally ask them.
Creative writing gives us the opportunity to make our thoughts visible and organize them. Collages, as well as drawings and splashes of color, provide us with the images to do so. These come into play when we can’t yet find the right words. During the retreat, you can experiment freely, without any criticism. In between, there’s time and space to explore the area and go for hikes.
Program Schedule:
Day 1: On the first day, you’ll get to know the group and dive into the first creative session with initial writing exercises and a collage.
Day 2: “What Are My Strengths?” On the second day, we’ll identify our strengths and resources. We’ll paint, draw, and write about them.
Day 3: “Just Be (Creative) and Marvel” is the motto for the third day. We’ll awaken our creativity with playful writing methods and practice mindful writing.
Day 4: “My Wishes, Goals, and Visions.” On the fourth day, we’ll look toward the future, create a vision collage, and explore our wishes and goals.
Day 5: The final day is harvest day. What can you take away from the retreat to apply to your everyday life?
Every morning, you’ll also have the opportunity to start your day with the Morning Pages (including a guided writing prompt). Writing and creative sessions in the morning and evening, each lasting 2 hours. On the arrival and departure days, only one session will take place.
