A DAY AT THE RETREAT – YOUR JOURNEY BACK TO YOURSELF
Imagine: You wake up at an elevation of 1,800 meters and hear nothing but the gentle murmur of the stream. Your morning begins with flowing qigong and meditation against a breathtaking mountain backdrop. After breakfast, you’ll hike across moss-green slopes—and a dip in the crystal-clear mountain lake feels like a reset for your entire system. You return to your natural state of being: connected, alive, and fully present in the moment.
But how often does this very connection get lost amid the stress of everyday life?
THIS RETREAT MEETS YOU EXACTLY WHERE YOU ARE RIGHT NOW:
• STRESS & HECTIC PACE: You feel rushed instead of truly enjoying the moment.
• INNER RESTLESSNESS: Your mind never finds peace—not even when you want to relax.
• EMOTIONAL CONSTRAINT: You long for more lightness, depth, and genuine joy from the heart.
• SELF-SEARCH: You wonder where your true, vibrant self has gone amid the hustle and bustle of daily life.
THE FOUNDATION: GROUNDED IN LOVING PRESENCE
Three powerful pillars drawn from Buddhism, Taoism, and modern psychology guide you out of the whirlwind of thoughts and back to your stability, serenity, and open-heartedness.
• THE POWER OF GROUNDING: We gently calm your nervous system and strengthen your inner center. This helps you find your way out of the whirlwind of thoughts and back to tangible serenity, stability, and a renewed sense of basic trust.
• THE POWER OF THE HEART: We release emotional constriction to make joy and genuine vitality tangible once again. It is the path to an unconditional “yes” to yourself and a heartfelt openness to life.
• THE POWER OF BEING: A conscious shift from constant “doing” to pure “being.” You’ll experience how soothing it is to simply arrive in the here and now—with your feet firmly planted on the ground and a mind as vast and free as the sky.
OUR METHODS
• ENERGY & EMBODIMENT: Qi Gong and intuitive movement activate your life force.
• AWARENESS & SILENCE: Guided meditations, sound journeys, and breathing exercises quiet the inner noise.
• NATURE & COMMUNITY: Mindful hiking and genuine connection instead of solitary self-improvement.
In a small group of up to 8 people, Tanja & Matti create a safe and nurturing space where all your feelings are welcome.
YOUR GUIDES
• MATTI: “I know what darkness feels like—and how to find the light within it.” After facing severe setbacks (a broken back at age 20, the loss of his partner), Matti learned to keep his heart open even in the midst of deep crises. As an M.Sc. in Psychology (Positive Psychology) and a therapist (specializing in presence-oriented work), he combines a scientific foundation with over 15 years of practice in qigong and meditation. With clear presence and genuine warmth, he creates a space where true transformation takes place.
• TANJA: Sound and kitchen fairy. She nourishes the body with exquisite cuisine and guides you into deep relaxation with instruments (singing bowls, guitar) and her voice.
WHAT YOU’LL TAKE HOME
• Energetic Vitality: Freedom from rumination, renewed life energy.
• Deep Calm: A lasting reset for your nervous system.
• Opening the Heart: Lightheartedness, playfulness, and emotional expansiveness.
• Integration into daily life: Highly effective tools for maintaining your center in everyday life.
