At a time often marked by expectations, emotions, and reflections, this Christmas retreat deliberately focuses inward. Somatic healing helps you to mindfully perceive stress reactions, inner turmoil, or exhaustion and to restore a sense of security to your nervous system. The practice follows the principle of the Body's Way—regulation does not come through thinking or performance, but through the body, through perception, movement, and presence.
Gentle somatic exercises, conscious breathing work, and mindful movement sequences promote self-awareness and inner orientation. You will learn to recognize dysregulation at an early stage and to better support your nervous system in everyday life – both in phases of activation and in moments of rest.
A central element of this retreat is Nia. As a holistic movement practice, Nia combines dance elements with body awareness and rhythm. Nia is often experienced as a danced joy of life – lively, connecting, and at the same time regulating. Especially in the quiet season, this form of movement has a balancing effect: it gently gets energy flowing, strengthens body awareness, and promotes emotional balance.
The practice is complemented by in-depth knowledge of the autonomic nervous system. You will deal with stress-inducing factors, individual reaction patterns, and the question of how regulation can be achieved sustainably in everyday life. Mindfulness methods, relaxation techniques, and conscious self-care are just as much a part of the program as times of silence, exchange, and integration.
The peaceful atmosphere of the Kleebauer Hof, with its secluded location, wide meadows, and forest, supports this process. Walks, retreats, and consciously designed breaks provide space to process what you have experienced and to enter the post-Christmas period feeling strengthened.
