CONNECTED—with yourself, with others, and with the world.
When was the last time you truly felt connected?
Not just for a brief moment. Not just in passing. But in a truly authentic way—with yourself, with another person, and with the life around you.
In a time when so much has become loud, fast-paced, and challenging, we’re opening a safe space at SinnesWald for two days—a space for genuine encounters, inner connection, and lived humanity.
Our shared journey takes us through four levels:
I – YOU – WE – THE WORLD
You’ll have the chance to find your center, become more still, and become more aware of yourself. You’ll have the chance to meet another person, listen, reveal yourself, and experience how healing honest connection can be.
In our shared circle, a sense of “we” emerges, where each person has their own place. At the same time, we engage with the forest through all our senses and remind ourselves that we are a living part of this world.
You can expect meditation and mindful body awareness, ceremonial cacao, gentle breathing and embodiment work, emotional process work, exercises in encounter and connection, shared rituals, experiences in nature, as well as space for exchange, silence, and integration.
No prior experience is necessary, and you’re welcome to come just as you are.

Schedule & Program
Saturday, November 14, 2026 | 11:00 a.m.–6:00 p.m.
I – YOU – WE
On Saturday, we’ll open our shared retreat space and begin the journey by focusing on yourself first.
We’ll settle in, slowly leave our daily lives behind, and, with a shared opening ceremony, create a mindful transition into these two special days.
The first part of the day focuses on the “I”: How connected am I to myself? What do I notice when things quiet down? What do I need to feel safe and at home within myself?
Through meditation, mindful body awareness, gentle breathwork and embodiment exercises, as well as emotional process work, you’ll have the opportunity to connect with yourself on a deeper level.
From there, we’ll open the space for YOU. Through mindful exercises in encounter and connection, we explore what happens when we truly listen to one another, reveal ourselves, and meet another person with presence.
Accompanied by ceremonial cacao, we finally move into the experience of “WE”: experiencing community without losing ourselves in it. Taking our own place in the circle while simultaneously feeling connected.
Shared rituals, nature experiences in the SinnesWald, moments of silence and sharing, and a communal vegan meal guide us through this first day of the retreat.
We bring Saturday to a mindful close and allow the experience to sink in.
Sunday, November 15, 2026 | 11:00 a.m.–2:00 p.m.
WE – WORLD – CONNECTED
On Sunday, we come together again in a shared circle and gently pick up where we left off the previous day.
After a mindful arrival, our focus shifts outward: from “I” and “YOU” through “WE” to the “WORLD.”
The SinnesWald itself becomes part of our experience. We venture into nature, open our senses, and explore what connection feels like when we encounter not only ourselves and other people, but also the living world around us.
Meditation, body and breath work, mindful experiences of nature, and a shared ritual bring together the different levels of our journey.
To conclude, we take time for integration and alignment: What do I want to take from these two days into my everyday life? How do I want to relate to myself, other people, and the world going forward?
We’ll wrap up our weekend together with a shared vegan meal.
ME – YOU – US – THE WORLD.
Two days during which you’ll not only understand connection but also experience and feel it.
The weekend retreat will take place at the beautiful SinnesWald in Leichlingen—nestled in the lush Murbach Valley and surrounded by forests and nature.
Venue:
SinnesWald
Wietsche 1
42799 Leichlingen
Directions by Car
Please enter the following address into your GPS:
Am Murbach 18
42799 Leichlingen
From there, follow the road for about 200 meters. We recommend entering this address, as some navigation systems may direct you along less-than-ideal routes if you enter “Wietsche 1” directly.
Parking
There are very few parking spaces available directly at the SinnesWald.
We therefore recommend parking at the Balker Aue Sports and Youth Center:
Oskar-Erbslöh-Straße 26
42799 Leichlingen
From there, it’s about a 12-minute walk to the SinnesWald. This way, your journey begins with a short stroll through the surrounding area.
Traveling by Public Transportation
The nearest train station is Leichlingen (Rhineland).
From there, you can continue on your way to the SinnesWald. For specific connections during the retreat weekend, we recommend checking the current schedule via the transit information service before your trip.
Traveling from Different Directions
From the North
If you’re traveling from Düsseldorf, the Ruhr region, or Wuppertal, for example, head toward Leichlingen and then toward the Murbachtal. For the final kilometers, please enter “Am Murbach 18, 42799 Leichlingen” into your GPS.
From the South
If you’re coming from Cologne, Bonn, or the southern Rhineland, head first toward Leverkusen/Leichlingen and from there continue toward the Murbachtal. For navigation, also use “Am Murbach 18.”
From the West
Coming from Cologne, Leverkusen, or the Rhineland, the route takes you through Leichlingen. From there, continue toward SinnesWald/Murbachtal.
From the East
From the Bergisches Land region—for example, from Wermelskirchen or Burscheid—head toward Leichlingen and then into the Murbachtal valley.
Our tip: Plan a little extra time for your trip so you can park without rushing, walk the short distance to the SinnesWald, and start our retreat together in a relaxed manner.
