BookAt the Kleebauer Hof Retreat Center, you can enjoy modern vegetarian and vegan cuisine. Start your day with a hearty breakfast featuring breads, jams, cheese, freshly made porridge, fruit, a variety of milk options, yogurt, fruit juices, spreads, coffee, and a selection of teas. At 2 p.m., we serve a light lunch featuring a warming soup as well as spreads with bread or pastries.
Our breath accompanies us throughout our lives—usually unnoticed. But when used consciously, it can become a powerful guide to physical, mental, and emotional well-being. In this retreat, you will experience how specific breathing techniques help bring the autonomic nervous system into balance—that is, the delicate balance between activation and regeneration.
The focus is on the two main components of our autonomic nervous system: the sympathetic and parasympathetic nervous systems. If they are out of balance, it can lead to exhaustion, sleep disturbances, tension, or inner restlessness. The good news: Through conscious breathing, you can actively intervene here.
Armin Fischwenger clearly demonstrates how different breathing spaces—the abdomen, flanks, and chest—can be specifically opened and released. Through practical exercises, you will learn to breathe deeply, calmly, and through the nose to improve oxygen supply, activate the vagus nerve, and harmonize the cardiovascular system.
Special attention is given to so-called coherent breathing—a rhythmic breathing pattern that has been proven to reduce stress, stabilize emotions, and synchronize the heart and brain. The program is complemented by active breathing methods for cleansing and energetically recharging the body.
Armin Fischwenger brings many years of experience in breath therapy, bodywork, and health promotion. With his clear, undogmatic approach, he creates a space where you not only understand breath but truly experience it—deeply, invigoratingly, and transformatively.

Program details:
Two sessions daily totaling 4 hours. One two-hour session each on the arrival and departure days.

From Passau: via Oberkappel or Engelhartszell to Altenfelden
By train and bus
Take the train to Linz Hauptbahnhof; from there, there are regular bus connections to Altenfelden. Pickup from the Altenfelden Ort bus stop is included at fixed times:
Pickup from the bus: 2:08 PM and 3:08 PM (registration required at least 24 hours before arrival)
Transfer to the bus: 9:50 a.m. and 10:50 a.m.
