7-Day Dark Retreat in Mondsee
Mondsee, Austria
$1,029 / 7 Days
A dark retreat for two, led by Arnold Wiegand and his partner Edith. In a relationship, the same things often repeat themselves over time: a word, a gesture, and suddenly both partners are back in an old pattern. In the darkness, the external world fades away—and with it, much of what both partners usually hide behind. What remains is the essence of your connection.
Through shared dialogue, your own entanglements and projections become clearer: ingrained patterns of thought and behavior, unspoken expectations, and unacknowledged feelings. Much of what upsets you about the other person has to do with yourself—your partner becomes a mirror. When both of you are willing to look at this, confrontation can turn into self-reflection, and closeness returns.
Because a relationship is complex and multifaceted, a longer stay is recommended for couples. The appropriate length of stay will be discussed together during the preliminary consultation.
Duration: several days or more, by arrangement. For couples in which both partners are willing to engage. Location: Kelkheim in the Taunus region. Free preliminary consultation by phone or video call.

In the afternoon, we’ll be available for about 60 minutes to talk. During this time, you can
discuss your experiences, feelings, or thoughts so far.
