Start your day with a heartwarming breakfast featuring breads, jams, cheese, freshly made porridge, fruit, a variety of milk options, yogurt, fruit juices, spreads, coffee, and a selection of teas. At 2:00 p.m., we serve a light lunch featuring a warming soup as well as spreads with bread or pastries.
Digital media accompany many people from the moment they wake up until they go to sleep. Often, there’s hardly any room left for silence, focused attention, or mindful idleness. This retreat invites you to step away for a few days and refocus your attention on what’s happening in the present moment.
The Kleebauer Hof Retreat Center offers the ideal setting for this. Surrounded by forests, meadows, and the rolling hills of the Mühlviertel, it’s easier to leave everyday life behind. The vastness of the landscape, the tranquility of the location, and the vegetarian and vegan cuisine all help you consciously slow down and recharge your energy.
The retreat focuses on the time-tested methods of qigong. With her extensive experience, Nora Kögl guides you in directing your attention inward through flowing movements, mindful breathing, and targeted exercises. This practice helps reduce stress, harmonize your energy flow, and reconnect with your body as a reliable point of reference.
The program is complemented by mindfulness exercises, quiet moments in nature, and opportunities for reflection. Program Overview
The retreat begins on the day of arrival with the first session in the afternoon. It ends on the day of departure following the closing program. In between, there are two two-hour sessions each day.
By Car
From Linz: via Ottensheim on the Rohrbach Federal Highway to Altenfelden
From Passau: via Oberkappel or Engelhartszell to Altenfelden
By Train and Bus
Take the train to Linz Central Station; from there, there are regular bus connections to Altenfelden. Pickup from the “Altenfelden Ort” bus stop is included at fixed times:
Pickup from the bus: 2:08 p.m. and 3:08 p.m. (Registration required at least 24 hours before arrival)
Transfer to the bus: 9:50 a.m. and 10:50 a.m.
