Arrival by car

By car from the north: Coming from the north (Munich), take the A 8 (Munich-Salzburg) in the direction of Salzburg. From Salzburg continue on the Tauernautobahn A 10 to the Pongau junction/exit Bischofshofen. Take the B 311 federal highway to the Gasteinertal exit and follow the main road to the entrance to Bad Hofgastein.

By car from the south: Drive via Villach, Möllbrücke and Obervellach to Mallnitz and continue to Gastein via the car lock.

Arrival by train

Travel comfortably and environmentally friendly by train to the Gastein Valley to Bad Hofgastein station. Information on the timetable and connections can be found on the Austrian Federal Railways website.

There are frequent cab and bus connections to the center of Bad Hofgastein.
