Gerd Bodhi Ziegler - Intensive weekend
Nenzing, Austria
$357 / 2 Days
A weekend at a converted four-sided farmstead, surrounded by gardens, meadows, and the tranquil Vilstal valley near Landshut. Time for your practice, for good food, and for some peace and quiet amid the hustle and bustle of summer and the Christmas season.
We’re co-leading this retreat:
Judith Baumgarten teaches Hatha Yoga according to the Yogaweg method. She is a naturopath specializing in psychotherapy and a certified breath therapist.
Silvia Nagler teaches Ashtanga Yoga according to Dr. Ronald Steiner’s AYI method, as well as Yoga Nidra. She works as a business and life coach (IHK), sleep consultant, and breathwork instructor.
You’ll practice in a 109-square-meter shala with oiled wooden floors and a large window facing the greenery. Between sessions, there’s time to enjoy the garden, the garden sauna with its relaxation room, the pool, or a walk. The cuisine is vegetarian and Ayurvedic; Christiane, a certified Ayurvedic consultant, cooks for us.
The program:
4 yoga sessions, 90 minutes each (Hatha Yoga, Ashtanga Yoga AYI, Yoga Nidra, Body Journey)
2 pranayama sessions (15 minutes each)
2 guided meditations (15 minutes each)
Welcome, getting to know each other, and closing ceremony together
All program items are optional. You’re free to decide whether to participate in each session.
The retreat begins on Friday at 4:00 p.m. and ends on Sunday at 12:45 p.m.
Check-in at the farm starts at 3:00 p.m. Mats are available for rent, and beginners are warmly welcome.
The price covers the yoga sessions with both instructors.
You can book accommodations, meals, and access to the sauna and pool directly with the farm; expect to pay around 307 euros per person for the entire weekend. You’ll receive the farm’s contact information after submitting your inquiry.
