Feel the life cycle – a retreat for body and soul

The 800-year-old square farmstead in a secluded location with views over the rolling hills of the Mühlviertel region offers the ideal atmosphere for a sustainable break. Try new things, clear your head, and feel the impulse for change. Find retreat and tranquility at the natural swimming pond, in the woods, and in the vastness of the gently rolling landscape. Enjoy moments of relaxation in the sauna, scented with Swiss pine, and in the evening in a cozy gathering around the fire pit.

At the Kleebauer Hof Retreat Center, you can expect modern, vegetarian-vegan cuisine. Start your day with a feel-good breakfast featuring breads, jams, cheese, freshly prepared porridge, fruit, a variety of milks, yogurt, fruit juices, spreads, coffee, and various teas. At 2 p.m., we serve a light lunch with a warming soup and spreads with bread or pastries.

This retreat gives you time and space to familiarize yourself with change on all levels—both externally and internally. The yoga practice is based on the four inner seasons: spring, summer, fall, and winter—phases that we can experience in our own bodies.

Sometimes soft and flowing, sometimes powerful and clear – each session invites you to perceive the subtle signals of the body. What do you need today? Rest or expression? Retreat or encounter? The retreat is complemented by small, everyday impulses from naturopathy, cyclical coaching, embodiment, and creative work. Through exchange and silence, you will find your way back to your own inner guidance – gently, honestly, and at your own pace. The retreat starts on the day of arrival at 4:00 p.m. with a first joint session. On the following days, there are two yoga and inspiration sessions per day (approx. 2 hours each). On the day of departure, there is a final morning session, followed by breakfast together and departure.

By car From Linz: via Ottensheim on the Rohrbach federal highway to Altenfelden From Passau: via Oberkappel or Engelhartszell to Altenfelden

By train and bus Travel by train to Linz Central Station, from where there are regular bus connections to Altenfelden. Pick-up from the Altenfelden Ort bus stop is included at fixed times: Pick-up from the bus: 2:08 p.m. and 3:08 p.m. (registration at least 24 hours before arrival)
Transfer to the bus: 9:50 a.m. and 10:50 a.m. These are approximate times. From Linz Central Station, you can reach Altenfelden Ort with bus lines 215 and 230/231.
