Salufast - Preventive Therapeutic Fasting (5 Nights)
Schmalkalden, Germany
$667 / 6 Days
In this workshop, glass artist Sybille will show you how to create a colored bowl or plate from stained glass and fuse it. The glass is cut, shaped and fused in the kiln. In the second step, we build a mold out of refractory material, in which our melted plate is then bent. There will be some theory involved, but the main focus will be on practical experience with the material glass. While we wait for the results from the furnace, we will create small pieces of jewelry and can practice grinding. The course is intended for beginners with no previous experience. All you need to bring are sturdy shoes, work clothes/apron and a good mood!
Materials (glass, mold) for a glass bowl (20 x 20 cm) or similar and firing costs of approx. 60,- € per person are to be paid.
