Granite characterizes the history of the Mühlviertel and also its landscape: wooded hills, streams, fields and wild meadows. And again and again a panorama that leaves you in awe. It is also these views on the pilgrimage route that carry all thoughts about everyday life into the distance. Going on a granite pilgrimage means getting closer to yourself. Walking becomes a practice of meditation. And when you roll out your yoga mat at the Kleebauer Hof Retreat Center in the late afternoon, it simply feels good to move your body gently, to bring length into your muscles and to let go of everything.
Your days begin with an indulgent breakfast. A shuttle then takes you to the starting point of each day's stage and picks you up again at the day's destination. This allows you to hike with a light rucksack. Along the way, you can be on your own or together with your fellow travelers - it's up to you. Back at the 800-year-old Kleebauer Hof, lunch and free time await you. Relax in the Swiss stone pine sauna and enjoy the natural bathing pond with far-reaching views. If you feel like it, you can take part in the open yoga program in the late afternoon.
The program is suitable for pilgrimage enthusiasts and beginners who want to hike between 16 and 20 kilometers a day in the hilly Mühlviertel.
