Our body is far more than just a functional system—it is the place where we directly experience life. This retreat focuses on the conscious connection between the body, breath, and mindfulness. Through grounding techniques and gentle, mindful movements, the nervous system is regulated, fostering a sense of security and inner stability.
Breathing and awareness exercises, body scans, and silent mindfulness practice help us step off the merry-go-round of thoughts and fully arrive in the present moment. Movements are not performed for the sake of performance, but are experienced as an opportunity to better understand our own bodies and perceive their signals.
The retreat is complemented by reflections and group discussions that make it easier to apply these practices to everyday life. This creates simple, practical ways to live mindfully—not only in quiet moments, but also while moving and in daily life. Retreat leader Elke Weindl guides this process with her many years of experience and creates a safe space for personal development and mindful experience.
The Kleebauer Hof Retreat Center is nestled in the rolling hills of the Mühlviertel—a place where vastness, nature, and tranquility are immediately palpable. Meadows, forests, and quiet paths invite you to deepen your retreat experience even outside of the group sessions. The center’s calming atmosphere helps you turn your attention inward, become more aware of your body, and recharge your energy. In this way, nature and the special aura of the place become valuable companions on your journey toward greater grounding, presence, and inner balance.
