This yoga retreat with Gudrun Helm invites you to consciously experience the natural rhythm of activation and relaxation. Powerful yoga flows alternate with calm, restorative sessions, creating a holistic space for the body, mind, and nervous system.
The day begins with breathing exercises and a mindful grounding in the body. Step by step, you’ll learn the flowing sequences of 5-Element Yoga, inspired by the principles of Tai Chi. Circular movements, mindful breathing, and harmonious transitions promote the flow of energy, stimulate the lymphatic system, and provide a tangible sense of lightness. Earth, water, fire, air, and space form the foundation of the practice, creating a meditative quality of movement that balances stability with flowing expansiveness.
In the afternoon, a vibrant mix of yoga styles awaits you, featuring dynamic flows, powerful asanas, and mobilizing sequences. Breath and movement merge into a mindful practice that energizes while leaving room for inner peace. Weather permitting, some sessions will also take place outdoors around the Kleebauer Hof—amidst meadows, forests, and sweeping views of the Mühlviertel’s rolling hills.
The day concludes peacefully with Yin Yoga sequences featuring longer-held poses that facilitate deep release and gently work the fascia and connective tissue. Candlelight, silence, and the retreat center’s serene atmosphere help quiet the mind and foster new clarity.
Between yoga sessions, there is time for walks, quiet reflection, and relaxation—whether in the cozy lounge or in the sauna. The vegetarian-vegan cuisine at the Kleebauer Hof Retreat Center accompanies the week with nourishing, mindfully prepared meals. This retreat is suitable for both beginners and experienced yoga practitioners, creating a space for mindful movement, regeneration, and inner balance.
