Program example for your mindfulness retreat
Before the mindfulness retreat on Mallorca: we will talk on the phone in advance and agree on the goals and program for the mindfulness retreat together. I will also be happy to answer any questions you may have.
DAY 1: You arrive in Mallorca, relax first and we discuss on the phone when and where we will meet the following day.
DAY 2 Morning: Mindfulness session I (approx. 3 hours): First we get to know each other personally and you tell me about what motivated you to attend the mindfulness retreat. We start with an initial introduction to the topic, for example with the 5-step model of mindfulness, and reflect together. Theory and practical exercises go hand in hand and there is a reflection after each step.
DAY 2 Afternoon: Mindfulness session II (1 hour): We discuss questions that have arisen for you from the morning. I will guide you in relaxation and mindfulness exercises, for example with a focus on awareness training.
DAY 3 Morning: Mindfulness session III (2.5 hours): We deepen the background information on mindfulness, especially the aspect of mindful attitude. Exercises focusing on training concentration and perception complement the background discussions. Each step is followed by a reflection.
DAY 3 Afternoon: Mindfulness session IV (1 hour): We will discuss questions that have arisen for you from the morning. I will guide you in relaxation and mindfulness exercises.
DAY 4 Morning: Mindfulness session V (2.5 hours): Mindfulness hike up the Puig de Maria near Pollensa. During the hike, we take breaks for exercises and also practice mindfulness while we walk, for example with a walking meditation and exchange ideas in conversations. Once we reach the top, we enjoy the fantastic view and look for a quiet spot for final exercises and reflections. If you like, you can linger at the top, there is a small café/kiosk where you can get refreshments.
DAY 4 Afternoon: Mindfulness session VI (1 hour): We discuss questions that have arisen for you from the morning. I will guide you in relaxation and mindfulness exercises, e.g. a relaxing fantasy journey.
DAY 5 Morning: Mindfulness Session VII (3 hours): We deepen the mindfulness training and focus on how you can integrate mindfulness into your everyday life. You will receive an overview with exercises for in-between and see which resources can best support you in achieving your goals. The retreat will then come to a close.
Approximately 2 weeks after your stay in Mallorca, we will have a follow-up discussion (by telephone) to see how the implementation of the measures is working and where there may still be questions or uncertainties.
